If a person does not rinse his mouth or clean his nose during ghusl, will the ghusl be valid?
If a person performing ghusl neither rinses the mouth nor puts water into the nose and cleans it, his ghusl will not be valid.
Allah ﷻ says:
﴿وَإِن كُنتُم جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّروا﴾
"If you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves (thoroughly)."
[Al-Ma’idah: 6]
This command includes cleansing the entire body, and the inside of the mouth and nose are part of the body that must be purified.
﴿فَاغسِلوا وُجوهَكُم﴾
"Wash your faces."
[Al-Ma’idah: 6]
If one omits rinsing the mouth and cleaning the nose during ghusl, the ghusl will not be valid.

Evidence from Qur’an
Allah ﷻ says:

Why Rinsing Mouth and Nose Is Necessary in Both Wudu and Ghusl
- The Prophet ﷺ commanded rinsing the mouth and putting water into the nose during wudu.
- Allah ﷻ says:
﴿فَاغسِلوا وُجوهَكُم﴾
"Wash your faces."
[Al-Ma’idah: 6]
- The mouth and nose are included in the face’s cleansing.
- Since ghusl for major purification also requires washing the face, rinsing the mouth and cleaning the nose during ghusl is likewise obligatory.
Conclusion
If one omits rinsing the mouth and cleaning the nose during ghusl, the ghusl will not be valid.
