Muslims divided into different sects, come towards monotheism and desist from polytheism

This excerpt is taken from the book compiled by Hafiz Muhammad Ali Faisal, "Muslims Divided into Various Sects and Groups! Come to La ilaha illallah".

The Most Weighty Dhikr and Supplication and the Means of Reverence Above the Heavens, Earths, and All Creatures

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said that Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, asked Allah Almighty: O my Lord, tell me something through which I may remember You and supplicate to You by means of it.
Allah Almighty said: "Recite 'Musa La ilaha illallah'." Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, said: O my Lord! All Your servants recite it.
Allah Almighty said: O Musa! If the seven heavens and all their inhabitants and the seven earths are placed on one scale, and on the other scale only "La ilaha illallah" is placed and weighed, then the scale with "La ilaha illallah" will be heavier.
Reference: (Nasa'i: 10670, Al-Mustadrak al-Hakim: 1936, authentic according to the criteria of the two Sheikhs)

Who Deserves the Intercession of the Prophet ﷺ?

Abu Hurairah (RA) asked who is the fortunate person who will be deserving of your (SAW) intercession. The Prophet (SAW) said: "The person who sincerely declares the Kalima La ilaha illallah."
Reference: (Bukhari: 99)

Note: Saying it with sincerity means avoiding shirk; one who does not avoid shirk is not a sincere believer of it, even if they recite it with their tongue.

The Virtue of Sincerely Declaring the Kalima for the Pleasure of Allah Alone

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "When a person sincerely declares La ilaha illallah, the gates of the heavens are opened for him until he continues to ascend towards the Divine Throne, provided he avoids major sins."
Reference: (Tirmidhi: 3939, its chain is Hasan)

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever sincerely declares La ilaha illallah solely to please Allah, Allah makes the punishment of Hellfire forbidden for him."
Reference: (Bukhari and Muslim)

Entry into Paradise Despite Weakness of Deeds

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever sincerely testifies from the depths of their heart that there is no deity except Allah,
He is alone... He has no partner.
And Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger.
And that Jesus (peace be upon him) is also a servant and Messenger of Allah and His word which Allah sent to Mary (peace be upon her).
And he (Jesus) is a spirit sent by Him.
And Paradise and Hellfire are true.
Allah will admit the one who testifies to Paradise, no matter what their deeds are."
Reference: (Bukhari: 3435 and Muslim: 149)

Today, no injustice will be done to you

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:
On the Day of Resurrection, a person will be called in front of the entire universe, and ninety-nine registers of his sins will be placed before him. Each register will be as long and wide as the eye can see. Allah Almighty will ask: Can you deny any one of these sins? Have my guardian angels wronged you in any way?
He will reply: O my Lord, that is not the case.
Then the question will be asked: If you have any excuse, present it, or if you have any good deed, bring it forward!
The servant will fearfully respond: O Lord, I have neither any excuse nor any good deed.
Allah Almighty will say: You have one good deed preserved with Us. Remember! Today you will not be wronged.
Then a piece of paper will be brought out on which will be written The servant will say: O Allah! What is the worth of this piece of paper in front of these huge piles of sins? The answer will be: Today you will not be wronged.
Then those large registers of sins will be placed on one side of the scale, and the piece of paper on the other side. When weighed, the side with the kalima will be heavier.
Reference: (Tirmidhi: 2850, Sanad Hasan, Al-Mustadrak: 9, Sahih according to Muslim's condition)

Reflect! Why was this kalima accepted in comparison to the piles of sins? Because it was recited with a sincere heart. Otherwise, Abdullah bin Abi Munafiq, who also recited the kalima and prayed behind the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was not benefited by it because the kalima was on his tongue but disbelief was in his heart. It is understood that

Acceptance with Allah is directly related to the human heart

Sometimes two people recite the Kalima, but the difference in their sincerity is as vast as the distance between the earth and the sky.

One who recites La ilaha illallah must

thoroughly understand the meaning of لا إله إلا الله as Allah, the Lord of Glory, states in the Holy Quran:
﴿فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ﴾
Translation: So understand well that there is no deity except Allah.
Reference: (47-Muhammad:19)

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever dies while understanding لا إله إلا الله will enter Paradise."
Reference: (Muslim: 145)

The benefit of this Kalima will only be realized if one fully understands the declaration and fulfills its requirements; otherwise, it is nothing but ignorance.

The meaning of the first part of Kalima Tayyiba, La ilaha

The meaning of "La Ilaha" is that there is no deity... that is, before affirming the oneness of Allah... by affirming "La," the denial of all other lords of the universe is established. Because
⋆ You cannot become a servant of only one lord until you deny servitude to all others.
⋆ One can only bow at one threshold when they become indifferent to all other thresholds.
⋆ When you choose the light, you simultaneously express hatred for darkness.
⋆ You cannot turn your face in only one direction unless you turn away from all other directions.

Denial of all false deities is the very first thing

Allah Almighty says: "O son of Adam! If you come to Me with sins equal to the earth and meet Me without associating anyone with Me, I will meet you with forgiveness equal to the earth."
Reference: (Tirmidhi: 3885 and Al-Albani said: Sahih)

Allah Almighty will never forgive shirk

Translation: Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him, but He forgives anything else whoever He wills. And whoever associates partners with Allah has certainly gone far astray.
Reference: (4-An-Nisa:116)

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever dies while associating partners with Allah will enter the Fire."
Reference: (Al-Bukhari: 4497)

A Man Went to Hell Because of a Fly

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "One man went to Paradise because of a fly, and another went to Hell." The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, how is that? The Prophet ﷺ said: "Two men passed by a tribe that had an idol, and no one could pass without offering a sacrifice to it. So one of them was told to offer a sacrifice to the idol. He said he had nothing to offer. The people of the tribe said you must offer a sacrifice, even if it is just a fly. The traveler caught a fly and offered it as a sacrifice to the idol. The people let him go, and because of that sacrifice, he went to Hell.
The people of the tribe told the other man to also offer something to the idol. He said he would not offer a sacrifice in the name of anyone other than Allah Almighty. The people killed him, and he went to Paradise."
Reference: (Ibn Abi Shaybah, Shu'ab al-Iman by Al-Bayhaqi: 7093)

Many people associate partners with Allah despite believing in Him

And most of them believe in Allah, but they associate others as partners along with Him.
Reference: (12-Yusuf:106)

It was very easy to avoid punishment, but the son of Adam did not accept

The Mercy to the Worlds, peace be upon him, said:
On the Day of Judgment, Allah Almighty will say to the person who is afflicted with the lightest punishment, if you had in your possession the world and everything in it and wealth like it, would you give it all as ransom to be saved from this punishment? He will say: Yes.
Allah will say: I asked you for something even easier than that when you were still behind Adam’s back, which was not to associate partners with Me, otherwise I would cast you into Hell, but you disobeyed and associated partners.
Reference: (Al-Bukhari: 3334, Muslim: 7261)

What is shirk (associating partners)?

Allah explained it to us with an example, listen carefully

"O people! A parable is being given, so listen carefully: the gods you call upon besides Allah cannot even create a fly, even if they all gather together. And if a fly snatches something away from them, they cannot rescue it from the fly. Those who seek help are weak, and those from whom help is sought are also weak. These people have not valued Allah as He deserves to be valued. The truth is that Allah is Most Powerful and Most Honorable."
Reference: (Surah Al-Hajj: 73,74)

Who is the most misguided?

Who is more misguided than the one who, instead of Allah, calls upon those who cannot accept his prayers until the Day of Judgment, and indeed they are heedless of their prayers.

Reference: (Surah Al-Ahqaf: 5)

Those besides Allah whom you call upon are servants like you

Those besides Allah whom you call upon are just like you, human beings. So call upon them. If you are truthful, they should accept your prayers.

Reference: (Surah Al-A'raf: 194)

They are dead, not alive; they do not know when they will be raised

And those besides Allah whom they call upon do not create anything, and they themselves were created. They are dead, not alive, and do not know when they will be resurrected. Your God is the only true God. So those who do not believe in the life of the Hereafter, their hearts do not accept it; in reality, they are arrogant.

Reference: (Surah An-Nahl: 20,21,22)

They say that these are our intercessors before Allah

They worship besides Allah those who can neither harm them nor benefit them, and say, "These are our intercessors with Allah." Say, O Prophet ﷺ, ask them if you are informing Allah of something He does not know, neither of the heavens nor the earth. He is pure and exalted above the shirk they commit.
Reference: (Surah Yunus: 18)

They say that these bring us closer to Allah

Those who have taken others as protectors besides Allah say, "We worship them so that they may bring us closer to Allah." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Those who lie and deny the truth, Allah does not guide them.
Reference: (Surah Az-Zumar: 3)

Tell My servants that I am indeed near

Translation: O Prophet, My servants, if they ask you about Me, then tell them that I am near. When the caller calls upon Me, I respond to his call. So they should obey My command and believe in Me so that they may be guided to the right path.
Reference: (2-Al-Baqarah:186)

Your Lord says, Call upon Me; I will respond to you.
Reference: (40-Ghafir:60)

Who is it that asks Me and I give to him?

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When one-third of the night remains, our Exalted and Superior Lord descends to the lowest heaven and says: Who is it that supplicates to Me so that I may respond to him? Who is it that asks Me so that I may give to him? Who is it that seeks My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?"
Reference: (Al-Bukhari: 1145, Muslim: 1808)

You are all hungry except the one whom I feed

In a Hadith Qudsi, Allah Almighty says: "O My servants! You are all hungry except those whom I feed, so ask food from Me and I will feed you. O My servants! You are all naked except those whom I clothe, so ask clothing from Me and I will clothe you."
Reference: (Muslim: 6737)

Do not give examples for Allah Almighty like officers, etc.

"O people! Do not give examples for Allah Almighty because Allah knows everything while you do not know."
Reference: (16-An-Nahl:74)

They get very upset by the mention of Allah alone

"When only Allah Almighty is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter become upset, and when others besides Him are mentioned, they immediately brighten with joy."
Reference: (39-Az-Zumar:45)

Memorials of deceased elders become a cause of shirk

The Holy Quran mentions the five idols of the people of Noah (peace be upon him): Wadd, Suwa', Yaghuth, Ya'uq, and Nasr, whose worship led to the drowning of the people of Noah. It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that these were righteous people of that nation, and when they died, Satan made their people believe that they were righteous. To keep their memory alive, they made pictures and statues of them, and so they did. After that, their foolish descendants began to worship the pictures and statues of these elders regularly.

You ﷺ cannot make those in the graves hear

If you want salvation, then think and reflect

No person can become obedient to Allah Almighty until

Until all satanic forces rebel, and a major center of Satan's power is the desires that arise within a person himself. Allah Almighty says:
Translation: Have you seen the one who has made his desires his god?
Therefore, to attain the status of La ilaha illallah, first abandon the worship of the idol of your desires, whether it is the desire for worldly wealth or the customs and traditions of family and community. In short, be so intense in the love of Allah that in His love you free your heart from all desires and affections. Allah has stated this sign of His special servants:
﴿وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِّلَّهِ﴾

And Allah does not guide the disobedient.
