This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لا يستر عبد عبدا فى الدنيا إلا ستره الله يوم القيامة
"Whoever conceals the faults of a person in this world, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection."

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
من رأى عورة فسترها كان كمن أحيا موءودة
"Whoever sees a fault and conceals it, it is as if he has given life to a girl who was to be buried alive."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Book of Manners 4891, the narration is weak; in its chain Abu al-Haytham Kathir Mawla Uqbah is unknown, see At-Tahdheeb 12/270, Al-Mizan 583/4.
① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد فى سبيل الله وأحسبه قال: وكالقائم لا يفتر، وكالصائم لا يفطر
"The one who strives for the widow and the poor is like one who fights in the way of Allah."
The narrator states, I think the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: "He is like the one who prays continuously without getting tired and like the fasting person who does not break his fast."

② Sayyiduna Safwan bin Sulaym رضي الله عنه narrates a Marfu' narration from the Noble Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, he said:
الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد فى سبيل الله، أو كالذي يصوم النهار ويقوم الليل
"The one who strives for the widow and the poor is like one who fights in the way of Allah or like the person who fasts during the day and prays at night."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
السخي قريب من الله قريب من الناس قريب من الجنة بعيد من النار، والبخيل بعيد من الله بعيد من الناس بعيد من الجنة قريب من النار، وجاهل سخي أحب إلى الله من عابد بخيل
“The generous person is close to Allah, close to people, and close to Paradise, and far from the Fire (Hell). While the miserly person is distant from Allah, distant from people, and distant from Paradise, and close to Hell. An ignorant generous worshipper is more beloved and preferred by Allah than a miserly one.”
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Virtue and Relations from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) 1961, the narration is very weak, this narration is transmitted by Saeed bin Muhammad Al-Warraq from Yahya bin Saeed from Al-Araj from Abu Hurairah, Al-Warraq is abandoned in hadith and he is confused in narrating this hadith.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
من لم يشكر الناس لم يشكر الله
“He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah.”

And in another narration:
لا يشكر الله من لم يشكر الناس
“He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah either.”
Reference: Abu Dawood, Book of Manners 4811, the narration is authentic.
