Answer:

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!

During prayer:

  • In rukūʿ, one recites: “Subḥāna Rabbiyal-ʿAẓīm”.
  • In sujūd, one recites: “Subḥāna Rabbiyal-Aʿlā”.

◈ Minimum Recitation

  • These tasbīḥāt should be recited at least three times in every rukūʿ and sujūd.
  • Reciting them fewer than three times does not fulfill the Sunnah.

◈ Maximum Recitation

  • There is no fixed upper limit.
  • If one wishes to recite them ten times or even more, it is permissible.
  • Beyond three, the number is not obligatory nor specifically determined.

✅ Conclusion

  • Minimum: Three times in each rukūʿ and sujūd.
  • Maximum: No limit; more is permissible but not obligatory.
