This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mosuli's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnooat.
① Sayyiduna Muqil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: I have found a woman with good lineage and beauty, but she cannot bear children. Should I marry her? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: لا "No."
Then he came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) a second time, and he forbade him. Then he came a third time, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
تزوجوا الودود الولود فإني مكاثر بكم الأمم يوم القيامة
"Marry women who are loving and prolific, for on the Day of Resurrection I will boast of your multitude over other nations."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade Nikah al-Shighar; and Shighar is when a man marries the daughter of another man on the condition that he will marry his daughter or sister to that (other) man, and no dowry is specified between them.

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه states that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade Nikah al-Shighar. And Shighar is when a man says to another man: "Marry your daughter to me and I will marry my daughter to you," or "Marry your sister to me and I will marry my sister to you."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لا يسأل الرجل فيما ضرب امرأته
"A man will not be questioned for striking his wife (within moral and Shariah limits)."
