"The best among you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."
"This ḥadīth is the reason I have remained seated here to teach the Qur'an."
However, if someone unfortunately uses the teaching of the Qur'an as a means to fulfill worldly desires, he becomes among the most deprived—such a person, as mentioned in ḥadīth, will be among the first to be thrown into Hell.
The Prophet ﷺ declared such a person praiseworthy and enviable whom Allah blesses with Qur'anic knowledge, and who recites it night and day. His neighbor, upon witnessing his devotion, wishes:
"Would that I had been granted what he was, so I could act as he does."
[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Faḍāʾil al-Qurʾān, 5026]
➋ Regular recitation during and outside of prayer.

As stated in the ḥadīth:
"Allah elevates many nations through this Book and brings down others."
[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Ṣalāt al-Musāfirīn, 817]

He would say:"This ḥadīth is the reason I have remained seated here to teach the Qur'an."
