Can the hide of a dead mare be used—after being removed—for making the drum used in the mosque (Naqārah), or not?
The hide of a dead animal can be purified through tanning and then used. Therefore, if the hide of the mare is tanned and cleaned properly, it may be used for making the mosque’s drum (Naqārah).
