❀ Ruling on Attending a Wedding with Musical Instruments ❀
If musical instruments are played at a wedding, should one attend such a wedding or not?
Alḥamdulillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd!
One should not attend a wedding in which musical instruments are being played.
However, if a person can, with gentleness and wisdom, persuade them to stop the music, then he should do so.
Once the music is discontinued, it is permissible for him to participate in that wedding.
