The hadith states that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ instructed some people to drink the urine of a she-camel for healing from illness, while urine is impure and harmful. The Prophet ﷺ would not command drinking something impure and harmful.
Reference: (Sahih Bukhari: 233, 1501, 4192, 6805)
Such an incident occurred only once in the entire life of the Prophet ﷺ, and it never happened again during the time of the Companions. Considering this, scholars have given several answers regarding this incident, which are presented here:
First Point
Is camel urine pure or impure? That is, if it falls on clothes or similar, can one pray without washing it? The correct view is that it is not impure, but it is washed for the purpose of cleanliness.
Reference: (Sahih Muslim: 360)
This is why, after narrating the incident under discussion, Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) states:وفي القصة دليل على التداوي والتطبب، وعلى طهارة بول مأكول اللحم، فإن التداوي بالمحرمات غير جائز، ولم يؤمروا مع قرب عهدهم بالإسلام بغسل أفواههم، وما أصابته ثيابهم من أبوالها للصلاة

Translation: This narration contains the proof of treatment and the purity of the urine of مَاکُولُ اللَّحم animals (whose meat is permissible to eat). Treatment through forbidden things is not permissible, and despite many new converts to Islam, there was no command to cleanse them or to wash clothes with camel urine.
Second point
The use of urine was neither made obligatory by the Prophet ﷺ nor was it commanded as a recommended act; rather, it is related to treatment. Therefore, its use is only permissible as a form of treatment.
Third point
Those who consider reason or science as the standard should not object to this because physicians and science acknowledge its benefits. For example, in Arabia, a medicine called Hazd was made from it, which was useful in many diseases. The famous physician Ibn Sina considered the urine of a rural camel very beneficial for treatment. It is useful in the treatment of many diseases such as various skin diseases like eczema, tinea corporis, and boils. Similarly, it is effective in treating wounds on the body and dry and wet ulcers, making hair shiny and thick, and preventing dandruff. For details, see Encyclopedia:

.According to the "Journal of Cancer Science and Therapy," camel urine has anti-cancer properties and can be used in the treatment of cancer.

.Fourth Point
In the hadith, the use of camel urine is only as a medicine and nothing more than that. So, whoever does not feel inclined to use it should not do so, and those who treat with it say that a small amount is used for treatment, only one spoonful is poured into a glass filled with camel milk.
Nowadays, treatment with forbidden and impure things is common. Thousands of medicines contain chemicals derived from extremely impure substances. At this time, we are not stating the Islamic ruling on the use of these medicines, but the point is that it is the excellence of Islam that from the very first day it allowed the use of such beneficial things so that they could be used in times of necessity and treatment. It did not declare everything forbidden in all circumstances, thereby unnecessarily causing hardship and difficulty for people.
