❀ Ruling on Reciting Sūrah al-Kāfirūn and Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ in Maghrib Salah ❀

What is the ruling on reciting Sūrah al-Kāfirūn and Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ in Maghrib prayer on Thursday? Is this practice Sunnah?
Reciting Sūrah al-Kāfirūn in the first rakʿah and Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ in the second rakʿah of the Sunnah prayers after Maghrib and before Fajr is established from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
The Prophet ﷺ used to recite:
Mention of reciting these two Sūrahs in the Sunnah prayers after Maghrib is found in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Tirmidhī.
As for reciting these Sūrahs in the obligatory Maghrib prayer on Thursday, this is not established from the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
The narration often cited in this regard is defective (muʿallal) and weak.
