The evidence for this is the narration from Sayyidah ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to her while a woman was treating her using a healing incantation. The Prophet ﷺ said:
«عالجيها بكتاب الله»
"Treat her with the Book of Allah."
This narration is reported by Imām Ibn Ḥibbān, as recorded in Mawārid al-Ẓam’ān, Ḥadīth no. 1419.
Shaykh al-Albānī رحمه الله authenticated this narration. See:
