Is it permissible to send Qurbani and Zakat to another country?

Sending Qurbani from One Area to Another?​

Question:​

Can a person living in one country send the amount of his Zakat to another country or have his Qurbani performed in another country? (It should be noted that there is a significant difference in currency rates between countries.) Similarly, can Zakat and Qurbani be sent from one city to another city or area?

Answer:​

Without a Shariah excuse, people of one area should not send Zakat to another area.
ميں زكوة نه تؤخذ من أغنيائهم وترد على فقرائهم
Zakat is given to the poor among their own people.

I am not aware of any evidence permitting sending Qurbani to other countries.
