If Witr is prayed immediately after ʿIshāʾ, is it correct to later pray voluntary (nafl) prayers at night? In other words, is it permissible to perform nafl after Witr or not?
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿammā baʿd!
Yes, it is absolutely correct: if Witr has been prayed along with ʿIshāʾ, it is still permissible to perform voluntary prayers later in the night.
There is no prohibition against offering nafl after the Witr prayer.
