❀ Shar‘i Guidelines on Eating and Socializing with Rawāfiḍ ❀

Is it Islamically permissible to eat at the same table with the Rawāfiḍ (extreme Shi‘a)?
According to the scholars of the Ḥanafī school and other recognized Islamic scholars, the following principles should be observed when dealing with the Rawāfiḍ, particularly regarding eating and social interactions:
✔ If certain Rawāfiḍ are known to mock the religion of Islam, revile the noble Companions (رضي الله عنهم), or disparage the Qur’anic teachings,
then avoiding social interaction and eating with them is necessary.
✔ Especially those who:
✔ If there is a genuine need or unavoidable situation, such as:
then interacting with them is permitted, but one must remain cautious and maintain Islamic integrity.
✔ It has been confirmed by scholars that some Rawāfiḍ are accused of engaging in sorcery against those they oppose—particularly through food and drink.
✔ Therefore, extra caution is advised in such cases, especially when there is genuine suspicion or past incidents confirming harm.
✔ Avoid eating and close socializing with Rawāfiḍ who mock Islam or disrespect the Companions.
✔ Interaction in trade or necessity is permissible, but caution must be exercised.
✔ Be particularly careful with food and drink, due to credible reports of sorcery and hostility.

❖ Question:
Is it Islamically permissible to eat at the same table with the Rawāfiḍ (extreme Shi‘a)?
❖ Answer:
According to the scholars of the Ḥanafī school and other recognized Islamic scholars, the following principles should be observed when dealing with the Rawāfiḍ, particularly regarding eating and social interactions:
➊ Those Who Mock Islam or the Companions
✔ If certain Rawāfiḍ are known to mock the religion of Islam, revile the noble Companions (رضي الله عنهم), or disparage the Qur’anic teachings,
then avoiding social interaction and eating with them is necessary.
✔ Especially those who:
- Exclude the Companions from Qur’anic commendation,
- Curse or slander them openly,
should not be befriended, honored, or dined with.
➋ Business and Necessity-Based Interactions
✔ If there is a genuine need or unavoidable situation, such as:
- Trade
- Business transactions
- General dealings,
then interacting with them is permitted, but one must remain cautious and maintain Islamic integrity.
➌ Concerns of Harm and Black Magic
✔ It has been confirmed by scholars that some Rawāfiḍ are accused of engaging in sorcery against those they oppose—particularly through food and drink.
