Is the Beard a Part of Faith? An Islamic Perspective

❖ Question:
Is the beard considered a part of faith (Īmān)?
✿ Answer:
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. To proceed:
✿ Since the beard is the Sunnah of the Prophets (peace be upon them),
✿ and the Noble Prophet ﷺ not only instructed to grow the beard,
✿ but also declared growing the beard as an act of opposition to the Magians (Zoroastrians),
✿ and opposing the Magians is a part of faith,
Therefore, it becomes clear that keeping a beard is among those actions and practices that contribute to the completion of faith (īmān).
This is what I understand. And Allah knows best what is correct.
هٰذا ما عندي، والله أعلم بالصواب
