This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Umar ibn Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
إنما الأعمال بالنيات، وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى، فمن كانت هجرته إلى الله ورسوله فهجرته إلى الله ورسوله، ومن كانت هجرته لدنيا يصيبها، أو امرأة ينكحها فهجرته إلى ما هاجر إليه
"Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended. So whoever migrates for Allah and His Messenger, then his migration is for Allah and His Messenger. But whoever migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, then his migration is for what he migrated for."

② Sayyida Aisha رضي الله عنها narrates, the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا هجرة بعد الفتح، ولكن جهاد ونية، وإذا استنفرتم فانفروا
"After the conquest (of Mecca), there is no migration, but jihad and intention and sincerity remain. When you are asked to go out, then go out."

③ Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates that he heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
إذا أنزل الله بقوم عذابا أصاب العذاب من كان فيهم ثم بعثوا على أعمالهم
"When Allah sends a punishment upon a people, the punishment encompasses the entire people. Then people will be raised according to their deeds."

④ Sayyiduna Jabir رضي الله عنه narrates, we participated in a battle with the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم when he said:
إن بالمدينة لرجالا ما سرتم مسيرا ولا قطعتم واديا إلا كانوا معكم، حبسهم المرض
"There are some people in Medina whom you passed by and crossed every valley, and they were with you. But illness prevented them (so they could not join you)."
And in another narration:
إلا شركوكم فى الأجر
"But they share the reward with you."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tamim Dari رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
الدين النصيحة
"Religion is the name of well-wishing and sincerity."
We asked: "O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم? For whom?" He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لله ولكتابه ولرسوله ولأئمة المسلمين وعامتهم
"For Allah, for His Book, for His Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, for the rulers of the Muslims, and for the common Muslims."

② Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah رضي الله عنه states: "I gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم regarding establishing prayer, paying zakat, and well-wishing for every Muslim."

③ It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه
"None of you can be a believer until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."

① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من هم بحسنة فلم يعملها كتب له حسنة، ومن هم بحسنة فعملها كتبت بعشرة إلى سبعمائة ضعف، ومن هم بسيئة فلم يعمل * ها كتب له حسنة، ومن هم بسيئة فعملها كتبت له سيئة
"Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, then a good deed is recorded for him. And whoever intends to do a good deed and does it, then it is recorded for him from ten to seven hundred times. And whoever intends to do an evil deed but does not commit it, then a good deed is recorded for him. And whoever intends to do an evil deed and commits it, then one evil deed is recorded for him."

② Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه also narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
يقول الله تعالى: إذا هم عبدي بسيئة فلا تكتبوها عليه فإن عملها فاكتبوها عليه سيئة، وإذا هم بحسنة فلم يعملها فاكتبوها حسنة فإن عملها فاكتبوها عشرة
"Allah Almighty says: When My servant intends to do an evil deed, do not record it against him; if he commits it, then record one evil deed against him. And when he intends to do a good deed but does not do it, then record one good deed for him; and if he does it, then record ten times for him."
