Reliance on Allah
① Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
“Nations were presented to me; I saw no prophet with fewer than ten people, and some prophets had only one or two people with them, and I saw some prophets with no one at all. Then I was shown from afar a very large group, and I thought this was my nation, but I was told that this is Musa (peace be upon him) and his nation. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم looked towards the horizon. I saw a very large group. Then I was told to look towards the other horizon, and there was also a very large group. I was told that this is your nation, and with them are seventy thousand people who will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment.”
Then the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم stood up and went to his house. People began to estimate who those who would enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment might be. Some said perhaps these are the companions of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, some said they are those who were born into Islam and did not associate partners with Allah. They discussed other possibilities as well. Meanwhile, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم returned and said:
“What are you guessing about?”
They informed him, and he said:
“These are the people who do not practice ruqyah (spiritual healing), nor do they ask for ruqyah, nor do they take omens, but they rely upon their Lord.”
Then Sayyiduna Ukasha bin Mihsan رضي الله عنه stood up and requested that the Prophet pray to Allah to include him among them. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
“You are among them.”
Then another man stood up and requested that the Prophet pray to Allah to include him among them as well. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
“Ukasha has preceded you in this.”

Instructions Regarding Seeking Treatment
① Sayyiduna Usama bin Shareek رضي الله عنه narrates that the Bedouins said:
"O Messenger of Allah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! Should we not seek treatment?" He (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said:
"Yes! Servants of Allah! Seek treatment, for Allah has made a cure for every disease except one."
They asked: "Which disease is that?" He (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said:
Old age."

② Sayyiduna Abu Dawood رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
