① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
"When any of you drinks, do not breathe into the vessel, and when he goes to the toilet, he should not touch his private parts with his right hand, and when he performs istinja, he should not do so with his right hand."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
"When any one of you wakes up from sleep, he should not put his hand into the vessel until he washes it three times, because he does not know where his hand spent the night (i.e., on which part of the body it was)."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (RA) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
"None of you should touch his private parts with his right hand while urinating, nor should he clean himself with the right hand, nor breathe into the vessel."

① Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما narrates that when the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم passed by a garden or a wall in Makkah or Madinah, he heard the voices of two people being punished in their graves. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
"These two are being punished, and they are not being punished for a major sin."
Then he said:
"Yes! One of them did not take care regarding his urine, and the other was a backbiter."
Then the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم brought a fresh branch of a date palm, cut it into two pieces, and placed one piece on each grave. He was asked: O Messenger of Allah Why did you do this? He replied:
"It is hoped that as long as these remain fresh, their punishment will be lessened."
