This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Bara' رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
إذا التقى المسلمان فتصافحا وحمدا الله واستغفراه غفر لهما
"When two Muslims meet and shake hands, and they praise Allah and seek His forgiveness, they are forgiven."

② Sayyiduna Bara' رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ما من مسلمين يلتقيان ويتصافحان إلا غفر لهما قبل أن يتفرقا
"When two Muslims meet and shake hands, they are forgiven before they separate."

③ It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ata al-Khurasani رحمه الله that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
تصافحوا يذهب الغل وتهادوا تحابوا وتذهب الشحناء
"Shake hands, for it removes hatred and envy; exchange gifts, for it creates love and removes rancor."
Reference: Muwatta 2/908, Hadith 16, Hafiz Zailai has classified it as Mursal in Nasb al-Rayah 121/4.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
ليس الشديد بالصرعة إنما الشديد الذى يملك نفسه عند الغضب
"The brave is not the one who overcomes others by force, but the brave is the one who controls himself at the time of anger."

② Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reports that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
ما تعدون الصرعة فيكم؟
"Who do you consider to be the most dominant among you?"
We said: The one over whom no one can dominate.
He (PBUH) said:
ليس بذلك ولكنه الذى يملك نفسه عند الغضب
"Not so, but the one who controls himself at the time of anger."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir and Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with them, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
ما من امرئ مسلم يخذل امرأ مسلما فى موضع تنتهك فيه حرمته وينتقص فيه من عرضه إلا خذله الله فى موطن يحب فيه نصرته، وما من امرئ ينصر مسلما فى موضع ينتقص فيه من عرضه وتنتهك فيه من حرمته إلا نصره الله فى موطن يحب فيه نصرته
"Whoever leaves a Muslim person helpless at a time when he is being severely criticized, insulted, and dishonored, then Allah will leave that person helpless at a time when he would prefer to be helped. And whoever helps a Muslim at a time when he is being dishonored, severely criticized, and insulted, then Allah will help him at a time when he wishes to be helped."
