This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, which has been translated into Urdu by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
من طاف سبعا فهو كعدل رقبة
"Whoever circumambulates (Tawaf) the House (Kaaba) seven times, it is like freeing a slave."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Hajj from the Messenger of Allah 959. Nasa'i in Al-Kubra, Manasik al-Hajj 3951/2. The narration is Hasan.
② Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من طاف بالبيت خمسين مرة خرج من ذنوبه كيوم ولدته أمه
"Whoever circumambulates the House (Kaaba) fifty times, he comes out from his sins as on the day he was born."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Hajj 866. The narration is weak due to the weakness and poor memory of the narrator Shareek al-Qadi.
③ It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
الطواف حول البيت مثل الصلاة إلا أنكم تتكلمون فيه فمن تكلم فيه فلا يتكلم إلا بخير
"Tawaf around the House (Kaaba) is like prayer, except that you talk during it. So whoever talks during it, let him speak only good and beneficial words."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Manasik 960. Darimi, Book of Manasik 1847, 1848. The narration is authentic.
① Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Quraysh and their like used to stand at Muzdalifah and they were called Hums, while the rest of the Arabs used to stand at Arafah. So when Islam came, Allah commanded His Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) to go to Arafat, stay there, and then return from there to Muzdalifah. Allah Almighty says:
"Then when the people depart from Arafat, you also depart from there."
