Imam Shu’bi’s (may Allah have mercy on him) opinion about the Rawafid​

Question: What was Imam Shu’bi’s (may Allah have mercy on him) opinion about the Rawafid?​

Answer: Imam Shu’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says:​

[لو كانت الشيعة من الطير لكانوا رخما ولو كانوا من البهائم لكانوا حمرا]

If the Shia were birds, they would be vultures, and if they were animals, they would be donkeys.

Imam Shu’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says:​

[حب أهل بيت نبيك ولا تكن رافضيا]

Love the Ahl al-Bayt of your Prophet and do not become a Rafidi.
