How is it to sell the hide of the sacrifice and give the money as charity?

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Zubair Ali Zai Rahimahullah's book on the rulings and issues of Qurbani.

Selling Qurbani skins and donating the price as charity:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
من باع جلد أضحيته فلا أضحية لہ
"Whoever sells the skin of his sacrifice, then he has no sacrifice."
Reference: (Al-Sunan Al-Kubra by Al-Bayhaqi: 9/294 with a good chain, Mustadrak Hakim: 2/389)

This refers to a wealthy person who sells the skin and consumes its price himself, giving no regard or importance to this matter, rather committing disrespect and insult. As for the person who does this out of ignorance, then he is sinful.
❀ Aqbah bin Sahban (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
سألت ابن عمر عن رجل أهدى بقرة أيبيع جلدها ويتصدق بثمنه قال لا بأس به
I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) about a person who is given a cow as a gift; can he sell its skin and give the price as charity? He said: There is no harm in that.
Reference: (Musnad Musaddad Al-Matalib Al-Aliyah: 10/465, Hadith 2319, second edition 465/10)

From this, it is understood that if a person gifts his sacrificial animal to another and says, "You perform the sacrifice," then this is permissible, and also selling the skin of the sacrifice and giving the price as charity is permissible.
