"لا عدوى، ولا طيرة، ولا غول"
"There is no contagious disease (without Allah’s will), no bad omens, and no ghoul."
[Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 2222]
"Ghoul" refers to a type of jinn, and in some Ahadith, they are referred to as "سحرة الجن" (sorcerer jinn).
It is an established fact that sorcerers, by Allah’s permission, have the ability to change forms.
[Sahih Muslim 4/217]
