Narration:

Translation of the Incident:
Safwan bin Ya‘la narrates that there was a laborer of Ya‘la bin Umayyah. A man bit his arm, and the laborer pulled it away, causing the attacker’s front teeth to fall out. This matter was presented before the Prophet ﷺ. He ﷺ invalidated the claim and said: “Did you intend to bite him like a camel bites?”
[Agreed upon – Bukhari: 2265, Muslim: 1674]
❷ Biting a human being like a beast reflects an extreme level of savagery and cruelty.
❸ It is permissible to hire someone as a laborer even during war.
