Hidden Wisdom in Human Differences and the Cosmic Balance

Differences among human beings conceal a profound wisdom. Some are strong, others weak; some are beautiful, others less so; some have dark skin, others fair. One person’s mind is inclined toward poetry, while another excels in mathematics. One becomes wealthy with ease, another struggles financially. Some are scientists, others are laborers; some are doctors, others engineers. Some enjoy long lives, while others depart this world soon after birth.

Similarly, we observe contrasts in the natural world: where one place has the brightness of day, another has the darkness of night; some areas experience heavy rainfall, while others endure scorching sunlight; deserts stretch in some parts of the world, while vast oceans cover others; some lands are lush and green, others parched and dry; some experience biting cold, while others endure intense heat; some relish the fragrance of spring, while others witness the sorrow of autumn.

If Allah had manifested all His attributes in a singular and uniform way, without these contrasts and variations, not only would the natural order of the universe be disrupted, but the beauty and appeal of the world would be lost. Life would become monotonous and colorless.

This is the religious explanation for the wisdom behind such differences, an explanation rich with meaning and coherence. In contrast, atheistic science and philosophy fall short in providing any satisfactory rationale for this intricate design and diversity.
