Happiness is only in Obedience to Allah
Thus, it has become as clear as the sun that protection from Allah's punishment and attainment of happiness is only contained in obedience to Allah. The divine command is:
مَا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنْتُمْ
"What is [the matter] with Allah that He should punish you if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing."

قُلْ مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ
"O Prophet, say to the people, 'What is [the matter] with your Lord that He should punish you if you are not callers [to Him]?'"
