Fearlessness by the will of Allah, prohibition of slander and causing harm

This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.

Prohibition of Being Fearless Due to Allah's Decree

① Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Mulaika, may Allah have mercy on him, states: "I have met thirty Badri companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, all of whom had fear of hypocrisy regarding themselves. They were not fearless in their religion due to cunning and planning, and none of them claimed to have reached the level of faith of Jibra'il (Gabriel) and Mikail (Michael), peace be upon them."

Prohibition of Slander

① Sayyiduna Ubada bin Samit رضي الله عنه narrates: "We were in a gathering with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم when he said:
بايعوني على أن لا تشركوا بالله، ولا تسرقوا، ولا تزنوا، ولا تقتلوا النفس التى حرم الله إلا بالحق
You pledge to me that you will not associate partners with Allah, you will not steal or commit adultery, and you will not kill any soul which Allah has forbidden except rightfully."
And in another narration:
ولا تقتلوا أولادكم، ولا تأتوا ببهتان تفترونه بين أيديكم وأرجلكم، ولا تعصوني فى معروف، فمن وفى منكم فأجره على الله، ومن أصاب شيئا من ذلك فستره الله عليه فأمره إلى الله، إن شاء عفا عنه، وإن شاء عذبه
"You will not kill your children, nor will you fabricate falsehoods against yourselves, nor will you disobey me in any good deed; so whoever fulfills this pledge, his reward is with Allah, and whoever falls short in this matter, his affair is with Allah; if He wills, He may forgive him, and if He wills, He may punish him.
So we pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم on all these matters."
And the command of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم is:
إذا قلت باطلا فذلك البهتان، فذلك البهتان
"When you tell a lie, that is slander, that is slander."

Prohibition of Causing Harm

① Sayyidina Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that he said:
والله لا يؤمن، والله لا يؤمن، والله لا يؤمن
"By Allah! He is not a believer, by Allah! He is not a believer, by Allah! He is not a believer."
It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Who is that?" He (peace be upon him) said:
الذي لا يأمن جاره بوائقه
"The one whose neighbor is not safe from his harm."

② Sayyidina Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
لا يدخل الجنة من لا يأمن جاره بوائقه
"The person will not enter Paradise whose neighbor is not safe from his harm."
