Just as in the modern era some fabricators have concocted a book under the title "Al-Juz' al-Mafqood min Musannaf Abdul Razzaq", similarly, in earlier times, many fabricators and rejected individuals forged various sections and books. These have been critically examined by the esteemed scholars and deemed fabricated, false, and rejected. Below are some of these fabricated books and their fabricators:
➊ Al-Arba'oon Al-Wad'aniyyah:
This was fabricated by Zaid bin Rifaa al-Hashimi and Ibn Wad'an. Refer to Dhayl al-La'ali al-Masnu'ah by Suyuti, p. 202.
➋ Nuskha Abi Hudbah 'An Anas:
Its narrator, Ibrahim bin Hudbah, is a liar. Refer to Mizan al-I'tidal 1/71.
➌ Nuskha Nabeeṭ bin Shariṭ:
This was fabricated by Ahmad bin Ishaq bin Ibrahim bin Nabeeṭ bin Shariṭ. Refer to Mizan al-I'tidal 1/71-72.
➍ Nuskha Aba’ bin Ja'far:
Its narrator, Aba' bin Ja'far, is a liar. Refer to Mizan al-I'tidal 1/17.
➎ Musnad al-Rabee' bin Habib:
Among its many narrators, Rabee' bin Habib is unknown. Also refer to Kutub Hazara Minha al-Ulama, Vol. 2, pp. 295-297. The entire Musnad is fabricated.
➏ Musnad Zaid bin Ali:
Its narrator, Amr bin Khalid al-Wasiti, is a liar.
➐ Nahj al-Balagha:
This is an unsupported book. Al-Sharif al-Radi is accused of having fabricated it.
➑ Tafsir al-Ru'ya attributed to Ibn Sirin:
This is an unsupported and unverified book.
➒ Tanwir al-Miqbas / Tafsir Ibn Abbas:
The entire Tafsir is fabricated. Refer to Monthly al-Hadith 24, pp. 49-61.
➓ Al-Mujalasah wa Jawahir al-Ilm:
Its narrator, Ahmad bin Marwan bin Muhammad al-Dinawari, is deemed a liar by Darqutni (may Allah have mercy on him). Refer to Lisan al-Mizan 1/309. The statement of Muslimah bin Qasim about the weak narrator is rejected.
Likewise, many other books are fabricated and forged, and some ignorant and innovative individuals continue to use them as evidence.
