This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar under the title Ahkamat o Mamnoaat.
① Sayyiduna Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
يا فلان إذا أويت إلى فراشك فقل: اللهم أسلمت نفسي إليك ووجهت وجهي إليك وفوضت أمري إليك وألجأت ظهري إليك رغبة ورهبة إليك لا ملجأ ولا منجا منك إلا إليك آمنت بكتابك الذى أنزلت وبنبيك الذى أرسلت. فإنك إن مت من ليلتك مت على الفطرة وإن أصبحت أصبت خيرا
"O so-and-so! When you come to your bed, recite this supplication: O Allah! I entrust myself to You, I turn my face towards You, I entrust my affairs to You, and with desire and fear of You, I turn my back towards You. There is no refuge nor place of salvation except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent. So if you die this night, you will die upon the natural disposition (of the religion), and if you live until morning, your morning will be better."

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه that during the time of Sayyiduna Umar رضي الله عنه, when there was a drought, he would request Sayyiduna Abbas رضي الله عنه to pray for rain, and he would say:
"O Allah! We used to supplicate and beseech You through Your Noble Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, and You would send down rain upon us. Now we request You through the uncle of Your Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, so send down rain upon us." And then rain would fall upon them.

① Sayyiduna Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates that when a person wanted to travel, he would say: Come near me, I will bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم used to bid us farewell. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أستودع الله دينك وأمانتك وخواتيم عملك
"I entrust your religion, your trust, and your final deeds to Allah."

② Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Yazid Khatmi رضي الله عنه states that when the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم bid farewell to the army, he would supplicate:
أستودع الله دينكم وأمانتكم وخواتيم أعمالكم
"I entrust your religion, your trust, and your final deeds to Allah."

① Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه narrates, two men sneezed in the presence of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, so he صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم prayed for one of them and did not pray for the other. The person for whom he did not pray said: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! You prayed for him but did not pray for me. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
إن هذا حمد الله ولم تحمد الله
"He said Alhamdulillah, and you did not say Alhamdulillah."

② Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari رضي الله عنه narrates, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
إذا عطس أحدكم فحمد الله تعالى فشمتوه فإن لم يحمد الله فلا تشمتوه
"When any of you sneezes and says Alhamdulillah, then say to him يرحمك الله as a prayer, and if he does not say Alhamdulillah, then do not pray for him."

③ Sayyiduna Ubaid bin Rafi'ah Zarqi رضي الله عنه narrates, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
شمت العاطس ثلاثا فإن زاد فإن شئت فشمته وإن شئت فلا
"Pray for the one who sneezes three times, and if he sneezes more than that, then if you wish, pray for him, and if you wish, do not."
