عــداوۃ الکفــار للاســـلام
Disbelievers are enemies of Allah Almighty.
[یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡا عَدُوِّیۡ وَ عَدُوَّکُمۡ اَوۡلِیَآءَ] O you who have believed! Do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies.
Reference: (Surah Al-Mumtahina:1)
Disbelievers are enemies of the angels.
[قُلۡ مَنۡ کَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّجِبۡرِیۡلَ فَاِنَّہٗ نَزَّلَہٗ عَلٰی قَلۡبِکَ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ وَ ہُدًی وَّ بُشۡرٰی لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ]،[مَنۡ کَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّلّٰہِ وَ مَلٰٓئِکَتِہٖ وَ رُسُلِہٖ وَ جِبۡرِیۡلَ وَ مِیۡکٰىلَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَدُوٌّ لِّلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ] (O Muhammad, peace be upon him) Say, whoever is an enemy to Gabriel (should know) that Gabriel has brought down this Qur'an upon your heart by Allah's command, confirming what was before it of the Scriptures and as guidance and good tidings for the believers. Whoever is an enemy to Allah, His angels, His messengers, Gabriel, and Michael—indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.

Disbelievers are enemies of the Prophets.
[وَ کَذٰلِکَ جَعَلۡنَا لِکُلِّ نَبِیٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ الۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ ؕ وَ کَفٰی بِرَبِّکَ ہَادِیًا وَّ نَصِیۡرًا] (O Muhammad) We have certainly made the criminals enemies to every prophet, and your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper.
Reference: (Surah Al-Furqan:31)
Explanation:
In the same way, it means that just as the disbelievers of Mecca became your enemies, similarly, disbelievers in every era have been enemies of every prophet.
The disbelievers threatened to stone Prophet Noah (peace be upon him).
[قَالُوۡا لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَہِ یٰنُوۡحُ لَتَکُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمَرۡجُوۡمِیۡنَ] The disbelievers said, O Noah! If you do not desist, we will surely stone you to death.

The disbelievers conspired to kill Prophet Saleh (peace be upon him).
[وَ کَانَ فِی الۡمَدِیۡنَۃِ تِسۡعَۃُ رَہۡطٍ یُّفۡسِدُوۡنَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ لَا یُصۡلِحُوۡنَ]،[قَالُوۡا تَقَاسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ لَنُبَیِّتَنَّہٗ وَ اَہۡلَہٗ ثُمَّ لَنَقُوۡلَنَّ لِوَلِیِّہٖ مَا شَہِدۡنَا مَہۡلِکَ اَہۡلِہٖ وَ اِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوۡنَ]،[وَ مَکَرُوۡا مَکۡرًا وَّ مَکَرۡنَا مَکۡرًا وَّ ہُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ] There were nine chiefs in the city who spread corruption in the land and did not do any work of reform. They said among themselves, "All of us swear that we will attack Saleh and his family at night (and kill them), then we will tell his guardian that we were not present at the time of the destruction of his family; we are indeed telling the truth." The disbelievers plotted this scheme, and We plotted a scheme, of which they were unaware.

Explanation:
Allah's scheme was that on the night the disbelievers intended to kill Prophet Saleh (peace be upon him), Allah's punishment befell them.
The disbelievers threw Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) into the fire to give him a dreadful punishment.
[قَالُوۡا حَرِّقُوۡہُ وَ انۡصُرُوۡۤا اٰلِہَتَکُمۡ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ فٰعِلِیۡنَ]،[قُلۡنَا یٰنَارُ کُوۡنِیۡ بَرۡدًا وَّ سَلٰمًا عَلٰۤی اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ] They said, "Burn Ibrahim in the fire, and if you want to do anything, then help your gods." We commanded the fire, "O fire! Be cool and safe for Ibrahim."
Reference: (Surah Al-Anbiya:68-69)
The disbelievers conspired to exile Prophet Lut (peace be upon him) and those who believed in him.
[فَمَا کَانَ جَوَابَ قَوۡمِہٖۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ قَالُوۡۤا اَخۡرِجُوۡۤا اٰلَ لُوۡطٍ مِّنۡ قَرۡیَتِکُمۡ ۚ اِنَّہُمۡ اُنَاسٌ یَّتَطَہَّرُوۡنَ] The people of Lut responded to his invitation by saying, "Expel Lut and his followers from your town; they are becoming too pure."
Reference: (Surah An-Naml:56)
The disbelievers threatened to stone Prophet Shuayb (peace be upon him) to death.
[قَالُوۡا یٰشُعَیۡبُ مَا نَفۡقَہُ کَثِیۡرًا مِّمَّا تَقُوۡلُ وَ اِنَّا لَنَرٰىکَ فِیۡنَا ضَعِیۡفًا ۚ وَ لَوۡ لَا رَہۡطُکَ لَرَجَمۡنٰکَ ۫ وَ مَاۤ اَنۡتَ عَلَیۡنَا بِعَزِیۡزٍ] The disbelievers said, "O Shuayb! Many of your words are not understood by us, and we find you weak among us. If it were not for your tribe, we would have stoned you, and you are not stronger than us."
Reference: (Surah Hud:91)
Pharaoh intended to kill Prophet Musa (peace be upon him).
[وَ قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ذَرُوۡنِیۡۤ اَقۡتُلۡ مُوۡسٰی وَ لۡیَدۡعُ رَبَّہٗ ۚ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ یُّبَدِّلَ دِیۡنَکُمۡ اَوۡ اَنۡ یُّظۡہِرَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ الۡفَسَادَ] (Finally) Pharaoh said to his courtiers, "Leave me; I will kill Moses." And he called out, "See, this is your god; I fear that he will change your religion or cause corruption in the land."
Reference: (Surah Al-Mu’minun:26)
The Jews conspired to kill Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him).
[وَّ قَوۡلِہِمۡ اِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا الۡمَسِیۡحَ عِیۡسَی ابۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰہِ ۚ وَ مَا قَتَلُوۡہُ وَ مَا صَلَبُوۡہُ وَ لٰکِنۡ شُبِّہَ لَہُمۡ ؕ وَ اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ اخۡتَلَفُوۡا فِیۡہِ لَفِیۡ شَکٍّ مِّنۡہُ ؕ مَا لَہُمۡ بِہٖ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ اِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ وَ مَا قَتَلُوۡہُ یَقِیۡنًۢا]،[بَلۡ رَّفَعَہُ اللّٰہُ اِلَیۡہِ ؕ وَ کَانَ اللّٰہُ عَزِیۡزًا حَکِیۡمًا] The Children of Israel said, "We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary," while they did not kill him nor crucify him, but it was made to appear so to them. And those who differ concerning it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. They did not kill him, but Allah raised him up to Himself. Allah is Mighty and Wise.

The disbelievers conspired to imprison, exile, or kill Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), but Allah protected him from every plot.
[وَ اِذۡ یَمۡکُرُ بِکَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لِیُثۡبِتُوۡکَ اَوۡ یَقۡتُلُوۡکَ اَوۡ یُخۡرِجُوۡکَ ؕ وَ یَمۡکُرُوۡنَ وَ یَمۡکُرُ اللّٰہُ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ خَیۡرُ الۡمٰکِرِیۡنَ] And when the disbelievers plotted against you to imprison you or kill you or exile you, they were planning, but Allah was planning, and Allah is the best of planners.
Reference: (Surah Al-Anfal:30)
Explanation:
Allah's plan was that on the night the disbelievers besieged the house of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to kill him, Allah saved him from the disbelievers' siege and took him to the Cave of Thawr. It should be noted that the disbelievers conspired to kill the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at least seventeen times during the Meccan and Medinan periods, but by Allah's grace and mercy, every time their plot failed.
Disbelievers are enemies of all believers.
① [اِنَّ الۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ کَانُوۡا لَکُمۡ عَدُوًّا مُّبِیۡنًا] Indeed, the disbelievers are your open enemies.
Reference: (Surah An-Nisa:101)
② [لَتَجِدَنَّ اَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الۡیَہُوۡدَ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اَشۡرَکُوۡا ۚ] You will find the Jews and the polytheists to be the fiercest in enmity toward the believers.
Reference: (Surah Al-Ma'idah:82)
Disbelievers are enemies of the Holy Quran.
① [وَ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَنۡ نُّؤۡمِنَ بِہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنِ وَ لَا بِالَّذِیۡ بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡہِ ؕ] And the disbelievers say, We will never believe in this Quran nor in any book that came before it.
Reference: (Surah Saba:31)
② [وَ اِذَا تُتۡلٰی عَلَیۡہِمۡ اٰیَاتُنَا بَیِّنٰتٍ ۙ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَرۡجُوۡنَ لِقَآءَنَا ائۡتِ بِقُرۡاٰنٍ غَیۡرِ ہٰذَاۤ اَوۡ بَدِّلۡہُ ؕ] When Our clear verses are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say, Bring a different Quran or change its verses.
Reference: (Surah Yunus:15)
③ [وَ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَا تَسۡمَعُوۡا لِہٰذَا الۡقُرۡاٰنِ وَ الۡغَوۡا فِیۡہِ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَغۡلِبُوۡنَ] The disbelievers say (to one another), Do not listen to this Quran, and when it is recited, make a loud noise so that you may overcome.
Reference: (Surah Ha Mim As-Sajda:26)
Disbelievers are enemies of the mosques.
[مَا کَانَ لِلۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ اَنۡ یَّعۡمُرُوۡا مَسٰجِدَ اللّٰہِ شٰہِدِیۡنَ عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ بِالۡکُفۡرِ ؕ اُولٰٓئِکَ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمَالُہُمۡ ۚۖ وَ فِی النَّارِ ہُمۡ خٰلِدُوۡنَ] It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah, while they bear witness against themselves of disbelief. Their deeds are in vain, and they will remain in the Fire forever.
Reference: (Surah At-Tawba:17)
