Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ Ever Pray Behind a Companion?

Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ever perform Salah under the leadership (Imamah) of any of his companions?


Yes, the Prophet ﷺ did pray under the leadership of others on a few occasions:


① Twice under the leadership of Sayyiduna Jibril عليه السلام
② Once behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq رضي الله عنه
③ Once behind Sayyiduna 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf رضي الله عنه
