إقتضـــــاء الـــولاء للمؤمنیـن
The needs and comfort of Muslim brothers should be preferred over one's own needs and comfort.
[وَ الَّذِیۡنَ تَبَوَّؤُ الدَّارَ وَ الۡاِیۡمَانَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ یُحِبُّوۡنَ مَنۡ ہَاجَرَ اِلَیۡہِمۡ وَ لَا یَجِدُوۡنَ فِیۡ صُدُوۡرِہِمۡ حَاجَۃً مِّمَّاۤ اُوۡتُوۡا وَ یُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ عَلٰۤی اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ وَ لَوۡ کَانَ بِہِمۡ خَصَاصَۃٌ ؕ۟ وَ مَنۡ یُّوۡقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِہٖ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ]
Those who believed and were already residing in the land of migration (i.e., the Ansar of Medina) love those who migrated to them, and they do not feel any special need in their hearts for what is given to them (from the spoils of war) and prefer others over themselves, even if they themselves are in need. Only those who save themselves from the stinginess of their own souls are the successful ones.

Refuge should be given to the emigrants who, distressed by the oppression and cruelty of the disbelievers, left their homeland and homes.
[وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ ہَاجَرُوۡا وَ جٰہَدُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰوَوۡا وَّ نَصَرُوۡۤا اُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ حَقًّا ؕ لَہُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَۃٌ وَّ رِزۡقٌ کَرِیۡمٌ]
Those who believed, emigrated, and fought in the way of Allah, and those who gave refuge and helped (the emigrants) — they are the true believers. For them is forgiveness and a noble provision.

All Muslims of the East and West should live united like true brothers.
[اِنَّمَا الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ اِخۡوَۃٌ] Indeed, all Muslims are brothers to one another.

[وَ اِنَّ ہٰذِہٖۤ اُمَّتُکُمۡ اُمَّۃً وَّاحِدَۃً وَّ اَنَا رَبُّکُمۡ فَاتَّقُوۡنِ] And indeed, your community is one community, and I am your Lord, so fear Me.

[عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: إياكم والظن، فإن الظن أكذب الحديث، ولا تحسسوا، ولا تجسسوا، ولا تنافسوا، ولا تحاسدوا، ولا تباغضوا، ولا تدابروا، وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the greatest falsehood; do not listen to others' talk, do not spy, do not envy one another in worldly matters, do not harbor hatred, do not backbite, and O servants of Allah! Become brothers to one another.

The people of faith should be helpers and supporters of one another.
[عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ يَشُدُّ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا، وَشَبَّكَ أَصَابِعَهُ]
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) says the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The believers are like a building, each part strengthening the other (like bricks joined together). Then he joined the fingers of one hand with the fingers of the other hand.

It is obligatory upon the believers to protect their oppressed brother from oppression and to prevent the oppressor from committing oppression.
[عن أنس رضي الله عنه، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: انصر أخاك ظالما أو مظلوما، قالوا: يا رسول الله، هذا ننصره مظلوما، فكيف ننصره ظالما؟ قال: تأخذ فوق يديه]
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed. A man asked: If our brother is oppressed, we will help him, but if he is an oppressor, then how do we help him? The Prophet (SAW) replied: Prevent his hand from committing oppression.

All believers should be like one body; if one brother suffers pain or distress, then all other Muslims should feel the same pain and distress.
[عن النعمان بن بشير، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: مثل المؤمنين في توادهم وتراحمهم وتعاطفهم، مثل الجسد إذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى]
Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir رضي الله عنه says the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: The example of the believers in friendship, unity, and compassion is like that of a body; when one part of the body feels pain, the whole body feels that pain. If awake, it is awake; if feverish, the whole body feels the fever.

[عن النعمان بن بشير، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: المسلمون كرجل واحد إن اشتكى عينه اشتكى كله، وإن اشتكى رأسه اشتكى كله]
Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir رضي الله عنه says the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: All Muslims are like one person; if his eye is in pain, the whole body feels pain; if his head is in pain, the whole body feels pain.

The believers should not hand over their Muslim brothers to the disbelievers.
Helping Muslim brothers in times of hardship is obligatory upon all believers.
[عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما أخبره، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه ولا يسلمه، ومن كان في حاجة أخيه كان الله في حاجته، ومن فرج عن مسلم كربة فرج الله عنه كربة من كربات يوم القيامة، ومن ستر مسلما ستره الله يوم القيامة]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله عنهما that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he should neither oppress him nor hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfills the need of his Muslim brother, Allah will fulfill his need. Whoever relieves a Muslim brother from distress, Allah will relieve one of his distresses on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever conceals the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection.

Do not consider your Muslim brother insignificant nor leave him helpless.
Protect the life, wealth, and honor of Muslim brothers.
[عن أبي هريرة، المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه، ولا يخذله، ولا يحقره التقوى هاهنا، ويشير إلى صدره ثلاث مرات، بحسب امرئ من الشر أن يحقر أخاه المسلم كل المسلم على المسلم، حرام دمه، وماله، وعرضه]
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim; he should neither oppress him, nor abandon him, nor consider him insignificant. Piety is here, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) pointed three times to his chest. Then he said: It is enough evil for a man to despise his Muslim brother. All the things of a Muslim are forbidden for another Muslim: his blood, his wealth, and his honor.

One should like for his Muslim brothers what he likes for himself.
[عن أنس، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: None of you can be a believer until he likes for his Muslim brother what he likes for himself.

No Muslim brother should be harmed by your tongue or hand.
[عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده، والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand all Muslims are safe, and a Muhajir (emigrant) is one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.

Be well-wishing and compassionate towards your Muslim brothers.
[عن جرير، قال: بايعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، على إقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، والنصح لكل مسلم]
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (Al-Bajali) رضي الله عنه says: I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم to establish prayer, pay zakat, and to be well-wishing towards every Muslim.

[عن تميم الداري، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: الدين النصيحة، قلنا: لمن؟ قال: لله، ولكتابه، ولرسوله، ولأئمة المسلمين، وعامتهم]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tamim Dari رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Religion is the name of well-wishing and loyalty. We asked: Loyalty to whom? He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم replied: Loyalty to Allah and His Book, loyalty to His Messenger, and well-wishing towards the leaders of the Muslims and all Muslims.

Do not raise weapons against your Muslim brothers nor deceive them.
[عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: من حمل علينا السلاح، فليس منا، ومن غشنا، فليس منا]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Whoever raises a weapon against us is not from us, and whoever deceives us is also not from us.

No Muslim should be insulted nor should any Muslim be killed.
[حدثني عبد الله، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: سباب المسلم فسوق، وقتاله كفر]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (RA) that the Prophet (PBUH) said: Insulting a Muslim is an act of immorality, and killing him is disbelief.

[عن جرير، قال: قال لي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في حجة الوداع :لا ترجعوا بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض]
Sayyiduna Jarir (bin Abdullah Bajali) (RA) says the Prophet (PBUH) said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: Do not become disbelievers by killing one another after me.
Reference: Sahih Muslim:65
No Muslim should be called a disbeliever.
[عن ابن عمر، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: إذا كفر الرجل أخاه ، فقد باء بها أحدهما]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (RA) that the Prophet (PBUH) said: When a person calls his brother a disbeliever, then disbelief will surely return upon one of the two.

No betrayal should be committed against a Muslim after granting him safety.
[عن عمرو بن الحمق الخزاعي قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من أمن رجلا على دمه فقتله، فإنه يحمل لواء غدر يوم القيامة]
Sayyiduna Amr bin Humaq Khuzai رضي الله عنه says that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Whoever kills a person after granting them safety of life will be carrying the banner of treachery on the Day of Judgment.

Pray for the release of Muslim Mujahideen imprisoned by disbelievers and curse the oppressive disbelievers and polytheists.
[عن أبي هريرة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا قال: سمع الله لمن حمده في الركعة الآخرة من صلاة العشاء قنت اللهم أنج عياش بن أبي ربيعة، اللهم أنج الوليد بن الوليد، اللهم أنج سلمة بن هشام، اللهم أنج المستضعفين من المؤمنين، اللهم اشدد وطأتك على مضر، اللهم اجعلها عليهم سنين كسني يوسف]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه that the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, after rising from Ruku in the last Rak'ah of Isha prayer, would say سمع اللٰہ لمن حمدہٗ and humbly supplicate: O Allah! Release 'Uyaynah ibn Abi Rabiah from the captivity of the disbelievers, O Allah! Release Walid ibn Walid from the captivity of the disbelievers, O Allah! Release Salmah ibn Hisham from the captivity of the disbelievers, O Allah! Release the weak and oppressed Muslims from the captivity of the disbelievers, O Allah! Punish the disbelievers of the tribe of Mudar severely and crush them, O Allah! Send upon them a famine like the one in the time of Sayyiduna Yusuf عليه السلام.

Explanation:
It should be remembered that Sayyiduna Salmah bin Hisham, may Allah be pleased with him, was the paternal brother of Abu Jahl. When he embraced Islam, Abu Jahl imprisoned him. Sayyiduna Ayyash, may Allah be pleased with him, was Abu Jahl’s foster brother. After migrating to Medina Munawwarah, Abu Jahl deceitfully brought him back to Mecca and imprisoned him alongside Sayyiduna Salmah. Walid bin Walid bin Mughirah was among the prisoners of Badr; his brothers paid ransom to secure his release, and he set out for Mecca. During imprisonment, Allah opened Walid’s heart to Islam, so he secretly avoided his brothers and returned to Medina Munawwarah to be in the service of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. After embracing Islam, when they went to Mecca, the disbelievers imprisoned Sayyiduna Salmah, may Allah be pleased with him, and Sayyiduna Ayyash, may Allah be pleased with him, in jail, where these three were subjected to severe torture for the crime of accepting Islam. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for the release of these three prisoners on the path of truth, which Allah accepted, and all three companions were released and came to the service of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
Prayers should be made for the mujahideen fighting against the disbelievers.
① [عن عبد الله بن أبي أوفى يقول: دعا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على الأحزاب فقال: اللهم منزل الكتاب، سريع الحساب، اهزم الأحزاب، اللهم اهزمهم وزلزلهم]
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa رضي الله عنه says that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم prayed against the armies of the disbelievers as follows: O Allah! The One who revealed the Book, the One who takes account swiftly, the One who defeats armies, defeat the enemy and make their feet slip.

② [عن أنس بن مالك، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا غزا قال: اللهم أنت عضدي ونصيري بك أحول وبك أصول وبك أقاتل]
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه says that when the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم fought in battles, he would say: O Allah! You are my arm, You are my helper. By Your grace I walk and move, by Your help I attack, and with Your support I fight.

③ [عن ابی سعید الخدری قال: قلنا يوم الخندق يا رسول الله، هل من شيء نقوله فقد بلغت القلوب الحناجر؟، قال: نعم، اللهم استر عوراتنا، وآمن روعاتنا، قال: فضرب الله عز وجل وجوه أعدائه بالريح، فهزمهم الله عز وجل بالريح]
Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri رضي الله عنه says that on the day of the trench, we said: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! Is there anything we can recite (in these circumstances) because our hearts have tightened with fear and anxiety? He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: Yes, say: O Allah! Cover our faults and grant us peace from anxiety. Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri رضي الله عنه says that thereafter Allah Almighty turned the faces of the enemies away by means of a strong wind, and through this wind Allah Almighty defeated the enemies.

④ [عن ابی موسی رضي اللہ عنہ، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا خاف قوما، قال: اللهم إنا نجعلك في نحورهم، ونعوذ بك من شرورهم]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa رضي الله عنه that when the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم felt fear from a person or a nation, he would say: O Allah! We put You before the disbelievers and seek refuge in You from their evil.

❀ [وعن عطاء، أنه سمع عبيد بن عمير، يؤثر عن عمر بن الخطاب، في القنوت: «اللهم اغفر للمؤمنين والمؤمنات، والمسلمين والمسلمات، وألف بين قلوبهم، وأصلح ذات بينهم، وانصرهم على عدوك وعدوهم، اللهم العن الكفرة أهل الكتاب الذين يكذبون رسلك، ويقاتلون أولياءك، اللهم خالف بين كلمهم، وزلزل أقدامهم، وأنزل بهم بأسك الذي لا ترده عن القوم المجرمين]
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata رحمه الله عليه that he heard Ubaid bin Umair رحمه الله عليه mention that Hazrat Umar bin Khattab رضي الله عنه supplicated in Qunoot: "O Allah! Forgive the believing men and believing women, the Muslim men and Muslim women, place affection in their hearts and reconcile them among themselves. Help them against their common enemy. O Allah! Curse those disbelievers among the People of the Book who deny Your Messengers and fight Your friends. O Allah! Cause discord among them, make their feet slip, and send upon them a punishment that You do not turn away from the guilty people."

ضرر عدم الولاء للمؤمنین
If the believers do not support, assist, and cooperate with each other, great trials and corruption will spread on the earth.
[وَ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا بَعۡضُہُمۡ اَوۡلِیَآءُ بَعۡضٍ ؕ اِلَّا تَفۡعَلُوۡہُ تَکُنۡ فِتۡنَۃٌ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ فَسَادٌ کَبِیۡرٌ]
Disbelievers support one another; if you do not support one another, great corruption will be established on the earth.
