Abrogation of Shari‘ah After the Death of the Prophet ﷺ: Consensus of the Ummah

Question:
Can any ruling of the Shari‘ah be abrogated after the death of the Prophet ﷺ?
Answer:
The Shari‘ah is everlasting. After the death of the Prophet ﷺ, no ruling of the Shari‘ah can be abrogated.
❀ ʿAllāmah Qurtubi رحمه الله (671H) states:
أما بعد موته واستقرار الشريعة فأجمعت الأمة أنه لا نسخ.
“After the death of the Prophet ﷺ and the establishment of the Shari‘ah, abrogation is not possible. There is consensus of the Ummah on this.”
