This excerpt is taken from the Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi by Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnooat.
① Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أنا وكافل اليتيم فى الجنة هكذا وأشار بالسبابة والوسطى وفرج بينهما
“The one who cares for an orphan and I will be like this in Paradise.” The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم indicated with his index and middle fingers, creating a gap between them.

② It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أنا وكافل اليتيم فى الجنة كهاتين له ولغيره
“The one who cares for an orphan and I will be like these two (fingers) in Paradise.”

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suhail bin Muadh رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من كظم غيظا وهو يستطيع أن ينفذه دعاه الله يوم القيامة على رؤوس الخلائق حتى يخيره فى أى الحور شاء
"Whoever controls his anger despite having the power to act on it, Allah will call him on the Day of Resurrection in the presence of all creation and grant him the choice of a maiden (Hoor) of his liking."

① Sayyiduna Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه narrates, I asked: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! Which deeds are the best?
You صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
الإيمان بالله، والجهاد فى سبيل الله
"To believe in Allah and to strive in the way of Allah."
I asked: Which slave's emancipation is the best?
You صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أنفسها عند أهلها وأكثرها ثمنا
"The one who is most refined and valuable in the sight of his master."
I asked: If I cannot do that?
You صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
تعين صانعا أو تصنع لأخرق
"Then help a craftsman or teach a skill to an unskilled person."
I asked: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! Tell me if I cannot perform any deed?
You صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
تكف شرك عن الناس فإنها صدقة منك على نفسك
"Protect people from your evil and harm, for this is a charity from you upon yourself."
