Can Anyone Be Safe from Satan?

Authored by: Dr. Raza Abdullah Pasha (ḥafiẓahullāh)

Answer:
Yes, those who are sincere can be safe from Satan.

Satan himself said:

"[Iblīs] said: 'By Your might, I will surely mislead them all, except among them Your chosen servants.'"
[Ṣād: 82–83]

It is narrated in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī:

"When a servant’s soul is raised to the heavens, the angels, in astonishment, say: 'Subḥān Allāh! This servant has escaped Satan. Woe, how did he manage to escape?'"

This clearly indicates that only the sincere and chosen servants of Allah are saved from the deceit and traps of Satan.
