It is established from the Sunnah that a person praying alone may give the Adhan and Iqamah before performing the prayer.
Sayyiduna ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
يعجب ربك عز وجل من راعي غنم في رأس شَظِيَّة بجبل يؤذن للصلاة ويصلي، فيقول الله عز وجل: انظروا إلى عبدي هذا يؤذن ويقيم للصلاة، يخاف مني، قد غفرت لعبدي، وأدخلته الجنة
“Your Lord is amazed at a shepherd of goats on the peak of a mountain who gives the Adhan and performs the prayer. Allah says: ‘Look at My servant, who gives the Adhan and establishes the prayer, fearing only Me. I have forgiven My servant and granted him Paradise.’”
