This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnooat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
الصلوات الخمس، والجمعة إلى الجمعة، ورمضان إلى رمضان، مكفرات لما بينهن إذا اجتنبت الكبائر.
The five prayers from one Friday to the next Friday, and Ramadan from one Ramadan to the next, are expiation for the sins committed in between, provided that major sins are avoided.

② Sayyiduna Abu Saeed and Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RA) report that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) delivered a sermon and said:
والذي نفسي بيده (ثلاث مرات).
“By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! (He said this three times).”
Then one of us stood up, crying, and it was not clear on what he swore. Then the Prophet (PBUH) raised his blessed head and there were signs of glad tidings on his face, and this was more beloved and pleasing to us than red camels. The Prophet (PBUH) said:
ما من عبد يصلي الصلوات الخمس، ويصوم رمضان، ويخرج الزكاة، ويجتنب الكبائر السبع، إلا فتحت له أبواب الجنة، وقيل له: ادخل بسلام.
“Whoever performs the five prayers, fasts Ramadan, pays zakat, and avoids seven major sins, the gates of Paradise will be opened for him and he will be told: Enter it in peace.”

① Sayyida Aisha رضي الله عنها narrates that a man asked permission from the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. When the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم saw him, he said:
بئس أخو العشيرة - أو بئس ابن العشيرة.
"A bad brother of the tribe or a bad son of the tribe."
So when he (came and) sat down, the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم approached him with a smiling face. When the man left, I asked: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! When you saw this man, you said this to him, and then you approached him with a smiling face. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
يا عائشة، متى عهدتني فحاشا؟ إن من شر الناس عند الله منزلة يوم القيامة من تركه الناس اتقاء شره.
"O Aisha رضي الله عنها! When have you found me to be foul-mouthed? In the sight of Allah, on the Day of Resurrection, the worst people in status and rank will be those from whose evil people seek to keep away."

In the narration of Abu Dawood

it is stated:إن من شرار الناس الذين يكرمون اتقاء ألسنتهم.
"The worst people are those whose evil people avoid by honoring them."
① Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates that a man came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and asked:
"O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! Who is most deserving of my good treatment?"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أمك
"Your mother."
He asked: "Then who?"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ثم أمك
"Then your mother."
He asked: "Then who?"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ثم أمك
"Then your mother."
He asked: "Then who?"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أبوك
"Then your father."

② Sayyiduna Abu Usayd Malik bin Rabi'ah Al-Sa'di رضي الله عنه narrates that we were in the presence of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم when a man from Banu Salamah came and asked:
"O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! After the death of my parents, is there any form of goodness left by which I can do good to them?"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
نعم، الصلاة عليهما، والإستغفار لهما، وإنفاذ عهدهما من بعدهما، وصلة الرحم التى لا توصل إلا بهما، وإكرام صديقهما.
"Yes! Praying for them, seeking forgiveness for them, fulfilling their promises after them, continuing the ties of kinship they used to maintain, and honoring their friends."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Book of Manners, Chapter on Dutifulness to Parents 5142, this narration is weak, its chain includes Ali bin Ubaid who is unknown.
③ Kalib bin Munfi'ah narrates from his grandfather that he came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and asked: O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! Who is most deserving of goodness?
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
أمك وأباك وأختك وأخاك ومولاك الذى يلي ذلك حقا واجبا ورحما موصولة.
"Your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, and your close servant. This is a right that is obligatory and a received kinship."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Book of Manners, Chapter on Dutifulness to Parents 514, this narration is weak, its chain includes Kalib bin Munfi'ah who is concealed.
④ Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin As رضي الله عنهما narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
رضى الرب فى رضى الوالدين، وسخط الرب فى سخط الوالدين.
"The pleasure of the Lord is in the pleasure of the parents, and the displeasure of the Lord is in the displeasure of the parents."

⑤ Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما narrates that a man came to the presence of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and said:
"O Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! I have committed a great sin, is there room for repentance for me?"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
هل لك من أم؟
"Do you have a mother?"
He said: "No."
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
فهل لك من خالة؟
"Do you have a maternal aunt?"
He said: "Yes!"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
فبرها
"Treat her well."

⑥ Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه narrates that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من عال جاريتين حتى يبلغا جاء يوم القيامة أنا وهو وضم أصابعه.
"Whoever supports two daughters until they reach maturity, that person will come on the Day of Resurrection like this (and the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم joined his fingers)."

⑦ Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
من كانت له ثلاث بنات أو ثلاث أخوات أو ابنتان أو أختان فأحسن صحبتهن واتقى الله فيهن فله الجنة.
"Whoever has three daughters or three sisters, or two daughters or two sisters, and treats them well and fears Allah regarding their rights, Paradise is for him."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of Virtue and Maintaining Ties 1916, Abu Dawood, Book of Manners 5147, Imam Tirmidhi said about this hadith: It is a rare (weak) hadith, and due to its weakness there is much disagreement in its chain.
⑧ Sayyidah Aisha رضي الله عنها narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
خيركم خيركم لأهله وأنا خيركم لأهلي وإذا مات صاحبكم فدعوه.
"The best among you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family. When your companion passes away, pray for him."

① Sayyiduna Jabir رضي الله عنه reports that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
ثلاث من كن فيه نشر الله عليه كنفه، وأدخله جنته: رفق بالضعيف، والشفقة على الوالدين، والإحسان إلى المملوك.
“The person in whom three qualities are found, Allah will spread His mercy upon him and will admit him into His Paradise: being gentle with the weak and frail, showing kindness to parents, and doing good to slaves.”
