Research Review of the Chain of Narration Regarding the Hadith of Urinating While Standing

What is the status of the following chain of narration?
إن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم بال قائما من جرح كان بمأبضه
The Noble Prophet ﷺ urinated while standing because there was a wound in the inner part of his knee.
(al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim: 645, al-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Bayhaqi: 489)
❖ Answer:
The narration is weak and munkar.
- Hammad ibn Ghassan al-Ju‘fi is criticized.
- Yahya ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Mahan has not been declared trustworthy.
حديث لا يثبت مثله
Such a Hadith is not established.

- Hafiz al-Nawawi رحمه الله declared it “weak.”
