Instructions Regarding Frequent Visits to Mosques

① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
"When you see a person coming repeatedly to the mosque, testify to his faith, for Allah the Exalted says: The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day."

Instructions Regarding Coming to Bayt al-Maqdis

① The freed slave woman of the Messenger of Allah, Lady Maimunah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell us about Al-Quds (Jerusalem)," so the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Go there and pray in it."
If there is a battle in that city:
"If you cannot go there, then send oil so that its lamps may be lit."
Reference: Abu Dawood, Kitab al-Salat, Hadith 457. Its chain of narration is Hasan.

② Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with them both, narrates from the Noble Prophet ﷺ:
"When Solomon son of David, peace be upon them, built Al-Quds, he asked Allah Almighty for three things. ① He asked for the ability to make decisions that were in accordance with His command, and it was granted to him. ② He asked Allah Almighty for a kingdom such that no one would be given such a kingdom after him, and that too was granted. ③ And when he finished building the mosque, he asked Allah Almighty that whoever comes to pray there should be purified from sins as on the day he was born."
Reference: An-Nasa'i, Kitab al-Masajid, Chapter on the virtue of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and prayer therein, 694. Its chain of narration is Sahih.
