Translation:
"And We sent prophets to many nations before you. Then We seized them with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to Us]. When Our punishment came upon them, why did they not humble themselves? But their hearts had hardened, and Satan made what they were doing seem attractive to them. Then, when they forgot what they had been reminded of, We opened all doors for them (i.e., showered them with worldly comforts) until, when they rejoiced in what they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were then in despair. Thus, the lineage of the people who did wrong was cut off. And all praises are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds."
In these verses, Allah Almighty explains several stages of dealing with the disobedient:
May Allah guide us all, keep us steadfast on guidance, and end our lives on guidance, Ameen thumma Ameen.

In these verses, Allah Almighty explains several stages of dealing with the disobedient:
- When a person stops following Allah's commands, their life becomes difficult, filled with various troubles, poverty, illnesses, and economic problems, so that they may turn towards Allah.
- If a person turns to Allah after experiencing hardships and suffering, these difficulties are removed. However, if they do not turn to Allah despite the hardships, the doors of worldly comforts are opened to them, and they are given various blessings.
- Then a time comes when the person begins to boast about these worldly comforts, believing that they have achieved everything through their hard work, and then due to this arrogance, Allah's punishment grips them, which ultimately leads to their destruction or makes their life exceedingly difficult.
- The troubles and sufferings of such a disobedient person do not end after death, because they have made no preparations for their hereafter and eternal life, so they must face severe torment after death, which will certainly be far more intense than their worldly life.
May Allah guide us all, keep us steadfast on guidance, and end our lives on guidance, Ameen thumma Ameen.
