Anonymous names for questions

I really love your website & I have many friends who do as well but unfortunately many of them prefer not to ask questions because it shows their name & username.

I personally feel like this should be changed, I feel like many people might feel uncomfortable to ask questions when their names or usernames
& Yes, the username can just change their username to something else so that it doesn't show it as that but many people might not think of that & might want to just stick to a username that they like

And I feel like many people would be much more comfortable asking questions if it shows as anonymous rather than their names showing & that's how it's done on most websites as well

Every member is free to choose any pen name they like — for example anonymous102, abc342, Abu Talha, Abu Ukasha, or anything else. There is absolutely no requirement for anyone to use their real name or reveal their identity.


Allowing completely anonymous, non-registered posting is unfortunately not possible, as it would immediately lead to heavy spam and abuse. Even with the current registration system, we still deal with many spammers who are automatically filtered and banned by our security protocols.

In that case, perhaps you can add a privacy option which allows those who don't want their names to show or you could maybe set it such that it will be visible to you but not to the general public

It doesnt ask for name anywhere if you regester at forum (instead of logging in via gmail/X)
