Acting Without Evidence is Misconduct and Oppression
The one who obeys the Messenger is indeed fulfilling the duty of clear insight and calling to Allah, unlike the one who commands without knowledge or says something that is not from Allah’s revelation, as the Divine command states:
وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَمَا لَيْسَ لَهُم بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۗ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ ﴿٧١﴾
“These people worship besides Allah those for whom He has not sent down any authority, nor do they have any knowledge about them. For these wrongdoers there is no helper.”
