All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. To proceed:
In response to this question, a detailed correspondence of 16 letters between Amanullah Abdullah (Nazim of Jamaat al-Muslimeen, Punjab) and Hafiz Abdul Manan Nurpuri is presented. This exchange extensively discussed the call of Jamaat al-Muslimeen, its registered status, and the Shar‘i legitimacy of such a group.
Response by Hafiz Abdul Manan Nurpuri:
Eventually, on 22nd Muharram 1414 AH, Amanullah Abdullah openly confessed in writing:
“Respected Hafiz Sahib! The truth is, I cannot prove from Qur’an and Hadith that the invitation to the registered Jamaat al-Muslimeen is a call to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. Therefore, from today, I have stopped promoting this group. I now invite you to pure Islam. Leave the Ahl-e-Hadith sect completely and embrace pure Islam.”
① The 16-letter correspondence clearly demonstrates that the representative of Jamaat al-Muslimeen (Registered) —
could not prove his group’s call to be aligned with the Qur’an and Sunnah.
② Ultimately, he withdrew his invitation and acknowledged the lack of Shar‘i basis for it.
③ The dialogue exposes the reality that Jamaat al-Muslimeen (Registered) was unable to justify its invitation on the foundation of Islamic texts.

✿ Summary and Sequence of Correspondence
Letter 1: Amanullah Abdullah to Hafiz Abdul Manan Nurpuri
- Invites him to join Jamaat al-Muslimeen.
- Justification: The group needs scholars like him to establish Khilafah.
Response by Hafiz Abdul Manan Nurpuri:
- Stated that inviting someone based on organizational needs is not Shar‘i.
- Asked a critical question:
Is this invitation a call to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, or merely a party-based necessity?
- Cited the Hadith:
{الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ} – Religion is sincere advice.
{وَالنُّصْحُ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ} – Sincerity is due to every Muslim.
[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Kitāb al-Īmān]
Letter 2: Amanullah Abdullah’s Reply
- Claimed that Jamaat al-Muslimeen is upon the truth for revival of the Khilafah.
- Left Ahl-e-Hadith due to perceived injustice, and saw truth and justice in Jamaat al-Muslimeen.
- Asked Hafiz Nurpuri to highlight any faults in their group.
Letter 3: Response by Hafiz Nurpuri
- Reiterated the central question:
“Is the invitation to join the registered Jamaat al-Muslimeen truly a call to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ?”
- Cited the verse:
﴿إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللّٰهِ الْإِسْلَامُ﴾
“Indeed, the religion with Allah is Islam.”
[Āl-‘Imrān: 19]
❖ The Core of the Discussion
- Amanullah kept giving general responses, repeatedly claiming that Jamaat al-Muslimeen is on the truth.
- Hafiz Nurpuri insisted on a clear, unambiguous answer:
Yes or No — Is your invitation to Jamaat al-Muslimeen truly a call to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ?
- Repeatedly demanded that Qur’an and Sunnah-based evidence be presented if the answer is yes.
- Warned:
If the invitation is not proven by Qur’an and Hadith, then it must be abandoned.
❖ Final Stage and Admission
Eventually, on 22nd Muharram 1414 AH, Amanullah Abdullah openly confessed in writing:

Therefore, from today, I have stopped promoting this group. I now invite you to pure Islam. Leave the Ahl-e-Hadith sect completely and embrace pure Islam.”
❖ Final Response from Hafiz Abdul Manan Nurpuri
- Expressed happiness over the admission of truth.
- Made du‘ā (supplication):
“May Allah grant us all the ability to truly understand the Book and Sunnah and to act upon them.”
