Throughout his life, Ghulam Ahmad Parwez worked to mislead Muslims. He accused the pious predecessors of being conspirators and attacked the core beliefs of Islam, attempting to portray Muslims themselves as deserving of Hell.
This is clear from his own words:
“The Qur’an has said that the majority in Hell will be those who will carry the burden of their crimes on their backs, as well as the burden of those whom they misled. To me, the addressees of this verse are we Muslims.”
(Nizam-e-Rububiyyat, p. 267)
Parwez consistently tried to apply verses of Qur’anic warning to Muslims, presenting them as criminals before the world. He based his arguments on Muslims’ worldly weaknesses to declare them Hell-bound.
According to Parwez, worldly comforts, luxuries, and prosperity are the real Jannah. From this, he concluded that anyone deprived of these worldly blessings is also deprived of the Hereafter’s Jannah and thus deserves Hell.
He stated:
“Today we must strive in such a way that the Hell of this world changes into Jannah.”
(Lughat-ul-Qur’an, Vol. 1, p. 449)
Parwez’s theory collapses when we look at the stories of previous nations in the Qur’an. These nations enjoyed worldly prosperity, yet due to their crimes, Allah ﷻ sent punishment upon them, annihilated them, and erased them from the earth — despite their apparent worldly “Jannah.”
From this we learn:
◈ Worldly prosperity cannot be called Jannah.
◈ Possession of worldly blessings is not a guarantee of the Hereafter’s Jannah.
◈ True Jannah is that which Allah ﷻ has prepared for His obedient servants in the Hereafter.
The Jannah of the Hereafter, promised by Allah ﷻ to His righteous servants, is free from death and eternal in nature. Its inhabitants will never be expelled from it. The Qur’an says:
﴿خَالِدِيْنَ فِيهَا﴾ – “They will abide therein forever.”
Parwez’s idea of making the world into Jannah is not only against the Qur’an’s teachings but is also a negative propaganda against Muslims. His theory equates worldly prosperity with Jannah and worldly weakness with Hell, which is in total opposition to the teachings of the Qur’an.

The Qur’an’s Perspective – Worldly Prosperity is Not Jannah
