❖ The Virtues of Noble Manners and Ethical Conduct in Islam​


إن الحمد لله نحمده، ونستعينه، من يهده الله فلا مضل له، ومن يضلل فلا هادي له، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، وأن محمداً عبده ورسوله. أما بعد:

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Seeking Refuge in Allah from Shayṭān at the Time of Anger​


Qur’anic Verse:


قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى:


﴿وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Aʿrāf: 200]


Translation:
"And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Shayṭān, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing."


Hadith ①:
Narrated by Sulaymān ibn Ṣurad رضي الله عنه:


"I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ, and two men were exchanging harsh words. One of them turned red-faced and his veins swelled. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'I know a word that if he says it, what he feels will go away. If he says: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ, what he feels will go away.'
They told the man what the Prophet ﷺ had said. He replied, 'Do you think I am mad?' In another narration: 'Do you see me as insane?'"


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ḥadīth 3282

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Forgiveness and Humility​


Qur’anic Verse:


قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى:


﴿الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ﴾

📖 [Sūrah Āl ʿImrān: 134]


Translation:
"Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and restrain anger and pardon people – and Allah loves the doers of good."


Hadith ②:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Charity does not decrease wealth. Allah increases the honor of the servant who forgives. And no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises him in status."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of the Weak and Needy and Sitting with Them​


Hadith ③:
Narrated by Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah from ʿĀʾidh ibn ʿAmr رضي الله عنه:


"Abū Sufyān passed by Salmān, Ṣuhayb, and Bilāl in a group of people, and they said: 'By Allah! The swords of Allah did not take their due from the enemy of Allah.'
Abū Bakr said: 'Do you say this about the elder of Quraysh and their leader?' Then he informed the Prophet ﷺ.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Abū Bakr! Perhaps you have angered them. If you have angered them, you have angered your Lord.'
Abū Bakr went back to them and said, 'O my brothers! Did I offend you?'
They replied, 'No. May Allah forgive you, our brother.'"


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Ḥadīth 6412

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Showing Mercy and Compassion to Allah’s Creation​


Qur’anic Verse:


قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى:


﴿قُلِ ادْعُوا اللَّهَ أَوِ ادْعُوا الرَّحْمَٰنَ ۖ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُوا فَلَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Isrāʾ: 110]


Translation:
"Say, 'Call upon Allah or call upon al-Raḥmān (The Most Merciful); by whatever name you call Him – to Him belong the best names.'"


Hadith ④:
Narrated by Jarīr ibn ʿAbdullāh رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Compassion and Care for Children​


Hadith ⑤:
Narrated by Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"You will see the believers in their mutual mercy, love, and compassion like a single body. When one limb is in pain, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Mercy to the Young and Honoring the Elderly​


Hadith ⑥:
Narrated by ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb from his father, from his grandfather:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and does not acknowledge the honor of our elders."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Concealing One’s Own Sins out of Shame before Allah​


Hadith ⑦:
Narrated by Sālim ibn ʿAbdullāh, who heard from Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"All of my Ummah will be forgiven except those who commit sins openly. And among the forms of open sinning is that a man does something at night, and though Allah had concealed it, he comes in the morning and says: ‘O so-and-so! I did such and such last night,’ even though his Lord had concealed it. But he reveals Allah’s covering from upon himself."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Concealing the Sins of a Believer in this World and Those Whom Allah Conceals​


Hadith ⑧:
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Judgement."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Defending the Honor of One’s Brother​


Hadith ⑨:
Narrated by Abū al-Dardāʾ رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever defends the honor of his brother, Allah will protect his face from the Fire on the Day of Judgement."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of a Pure Heart and Avoiding Envy​


Hadith ⑩:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Do not envy one another, do not artificially raise prices among yourselves, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and do not undercut one another in trade. Be, O servants of Allah, brothers.
A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He does not oppress him, abandon him, or look down upon him.
Taqwa is here" – and he pointed to his chest three times.
"It is enough evil for a person to look down upon his Muslim brother. Every Muslim is sacred to another: his blood, his wealth, and his honor."



📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Ḥadīth 6541

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Reconciliation and Justice Among People​


Qur’anic Verse:


قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى:


﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Naḥl: 90]


Translation:
"Indeed, Allah commands justice, good conduct, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, bad conduct, and oppression. He instructs you so that you may be reminded."


Hadith ⑪:
Narrated by Abū al-Dardāʾ رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Shall I not tell you of something more virtuous than prayer, fasting, and charity?"
They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!"
He said: "Reconciliation between people; for discord between people is the shaver (i.e., it shaves off religion)."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Truthfulness​


Qur’anic Verse:


قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى:


﴿وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Aḥzāb: 35]


Translation:
"The truthful men and the truthful women..."


Hadith ⑫:
Narrated by Abū Umāmah رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for the one who avoids argument even if he is right;
a house in the middle of Paradise for the one who abandons lying even in jest;
and a house in the highest part of Paradise for the one who perfects his character."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Fulfilling Trusts and Keeping Promises​


Qur’anic Verses:


قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى:


﴿قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ﴾
to ﴿الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ﴾
📖 [Sūrah al-Muʾminūn: 1–11]


Translation (selected):
"Successful indeed are the believers... those who are watchful of their trusts and covenants... they are the inheritors who will inherit al-Firdaus (Paradise), wherein they will abide forever."


Hadith ⑬:
Narrated by al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah, who heard from Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"There is no faith in one who has no trustworthiness, and no religion in one who does not fulfill his covenant."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Aiding One’s Brother and Removing Harm from Him​


Hadith ⑭:
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him nor hand him over [to harm].
Whoever fulfills the need of his brother, Allah will fulfill his need.
Whoever relieves a Muslim of a hardship, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Judgement.
And whoever conceals a Muslim, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Judgement."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Carrying a Companion’s Belongings During Travel and Guiding the Lost​


Hadith ⑮:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Every joint of a person must perform a charity every day. Helping a man mount his ride or lifting his belongings onto it is a charity. A kind word is a charity. Every step taken toward prayer is a charity. And guiding someone on the road is a charity."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Guiding Others to Goodness​


Hadith ⑯:
Narrated by Abū Masʿūd al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه:


A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "My mount is destroyed, so provide me a ride."
The Prophet ﷺ replied: "I do not have anything."
Another man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I will show him someone who can provide him a mount."
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever guides to a good deed will have a reward equal to the one who performs it."


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Book of Leadership, Ḥadīth 4899

◈ Chapter: Thanking the One Who Does Good and Praying for Him​


Qur’anic Verse:


﴿فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Baqarah: 158]


Translation:
"Indeed, Allah is Most Appreciative, All-Knowing."


Hadith ⑰:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever does not thank people, does not thank Allah."

◈ Chapter: Taqwā is a Condition for Attaining the Friendship of Allah​


Qur’anic Verses:


﴿أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ ۝ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ﴾

📖 [Sūrah Yūnus: 62–63]


Translation:
"Behold! Surely, the friends of Allah – there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and were conscious of Allah."


Hadith ⑱:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah said:
"Whoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine, I have declared war against him.
My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him.
And My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary deeds until I love him.
And when I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks.
If he asks Me, I will surely give him, and if he seeks refuge in Me, I will surely protect him."



📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ḥadīth 6502

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Striving Against the Self and Remaining Steadfast in Obedience​


Qur’anic Verse:


﴿وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-ʿAnkabūt: 69]


Translation:
"And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."


Hadith ⑲:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"When Allah created Paradise, He said to Jibrīl: 'Go and look at it.'
So he went and looked at it, then said: 'By Your honor, no one who hears of it will fail to enter it.'
Then Allah surrounded it with difficulties and said: 'Go look at it again.'
So he looked again and said: 'By Your honor, I fear that no one will enter it.'
When Allah created the Hellfire, He said: 'Go look at it.'
Jibrīl went and saw it and said: 'By Your honor, no one who hears of it will enter it.'
Then Allah surrounded it with desires and said: 'Go look at it again.'
He looked again and said: 'By Your honor, I fear that no one will be saved from it.'"



📚 Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Ḥadīth 4744 – Ḥasan

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Honoring a Fellow Muslim​


Hadith ⑳:
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmr رضي الله عنهما:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe. And the muhājir (true emigrant) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Remaining Steadfast in Obedience Until Death​


Qur’anic Verses:


﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ...﴾

📖 [Sūrah Fuṣṣilat: 30–31]


Translation:
"Indeed, those who say: 'Our Lord is Allah' and then remain steadfast – the angels descend upon them saying: 'Do not fear or grieve, but receive glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised. We were your allies in this worldly life and in the Hereafter.'"


Hadith ㉑:
Narrated by Sufyān ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Thaqafī رضي الله عنه:


He said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam which I do not need to ask anyone else after you."
The Prophet ﷺ replied:
"Say, 'I believe in Allah,' and then remain steadfast."


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Book of Faith, Ḥadīth 159

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Avoiding Doubtful Matters​


Hadith ㉒:
Narrated by al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"What is lawful is clear, and what is unlawful is clear. Between them are doubtful matters unknown to many people.
Whoever avoids doubtful matters protects his religion and honor.
But whoever falls into doubtful matters falls into the unlawful – like a shepherd grazing around a sanctuary, he is likely to enter it.
Know that every king has a sanctuary, and Allah’s sanctuary on His earth is His prohibitions.
Know that in the body is a piece of flesh – if it is sound, the whole body is sound; if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted.
Verily, it is the heart."

◈ Chapter: The Importance of Righteous Deeds in One’s Life​


Hadith ㉓:
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh ibn Abī Bakr ibn ʿAmr ibn Ḥazm, who heard from Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Three things follow the deceased: his family, his wealth, and his deeds.
Two return and one remains. His family and wealth return, and his deeds remain with him."



📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Book of Softening the Heart, Ḥadīth 6514

◈ Chapter: Reminding of the Hereafter​


Hadith ㉔:
Narrated by al-Miqdād ibn al-Aswad رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"On the Day of Judgement, the sun will come near to creation until it is a mile away from them."
(The narrator Sulaim bin ʿĀmir said: "By Allah, I do not know if by 'mile' he meant the distance of the earth or the 'kohl stick' used for the eye.")
"People will be submerged in sweat according to their deeds – some up to their ankles, some to their knees, some to their waists, and some will be bridled in sweat up to their mouths."
The Prophet ﷺ pointed to his mouth to indicate.


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Book of Paradise and Its Description, Ḥadīth 7206

◈ Chapter: Kindness to Servants​


Hadith ㉕:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"The servant is entitled to his food and clothing, and he should not be burdened with work beyond his ability."

◈ Chapter: The Prophet’s Advice to ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله عنهما​


Hadith ㉖:
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله عنهما:


One day I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ and he said to me:
"O young boy! I will teach you some words:
Be mindful of Allah, and He will protect you.
Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him before you.
When you ask, ask of Allah.
When you seek help, seek help from Allah.
And know that if the entire nation were to gather to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with what Allah has already written for you.
And if they were to gather to harm you with something, they would not harm you except with what Allah has already written against you.
The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of Tawakkul (Reliance Upon Allah)​


Hadith ㉗:
Narrated by Abū Tamīm al-Jayshānī, from the Prophet ﷺ:


"If you were to rely upon Allah as He deserves, He would surely provide for you as He provides for the birds:
they leave in the morning hungry and return in the evening full."

◈ Chapter: Belief in Divine Decree – Good and Bad​


Hadith ㉘:
Narrated by Abū al-Dardāʾ رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Everything has a reality. A servant does not attain the reality of faith until he knows that what has afflicted him could never have missed him, and what missed him could never have afflicted him."

◈ Chapter: Iḥsān – Excellence in All Things​


Qur’anic Verse:


﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Naḥl: 90]


Translation:
"Indeed, Allah commands justice and excellence (iḥsān)."


Hadith ㉙:
Narrated by Shaddād ibn Aws رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Indeed, Allah has prescribed iḥsān (excellence) in all things.
So when you kill, kill well. And when you slaughter, slaughter well.
Let one of you sharpen his blade and let him spare suffering to the animal he slaughters."

◈ Chapter: Good Character (Al-Khulūq al-Ḥasan)​


Hadith ㉚:
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ رضي الله عنهما:


The Prophet ﷺ was neither indecent nor vulgar.
He ﷺ said:
"Indeed, the best among you are those with the best character."


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Book of Manners, Ḥadīth 6029

◈ Chapter: Allah Does Not Love the Wrongdoers​


Qur’anic Verse:


﴿وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾

📖 [Sūrah Āl ʿImrān: 57]


Translation:
"And Allah does not love the wrongdoers."


Hadith ㉛:
Narrated by Abū Ṣakhr al-Madīnī, from Ṣafwān ibn Sulaym, who reported from the children of the Companions from their fathers:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Beware! Whoever wrongs a dhimmī (non-Muslim under Muslim protection), diminishes his rights, burdens him beyond his capacity, or takes something from him without his willing consent – I will be his opponent on the Day of Judgement."


📚 Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Book of Land Tax (al-Kharāj), Ḥadīth 3052 – Authenticated by al-Albānī

◈ Chapter: Maintaining Ties of Kinship (Ṣilat al-Raḥim)​


Hadith ㉜:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


A man said: “O Messenger of Allah, I have relatives with whom I maintain ties while they cut me off; I treat them kindly, but they treat me badly; I act with patience, and they behave ignorantly toward me.”
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"If it is as you say, it is as if you are placing hot ashes in their mouths. And you will have a constant supporter from Allah against them as long as you continue to act like that."


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Book of Righteousness and Ties, Ḥadīth 2558

◈ Chapter: Visiting Righteous Brothers for the Sake of Allah​


Hadith ㉝:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"A man visited a brother of his in another village. Allah appointed an angel on his path.
When the man passed by, the angel asked: ‘Where are you going?’
He replied: ‘To visit a brother of mine in this village.’
The angel asked: ‘Do you owe him a favor?’
He said: ‘No, I only love him for the sake of Allah.’
The angel said: ‘I am a messenger from Allah to you, informing you that Allah loves you as you love him for His sake.’"

◈ Chapter: Loving for Allah Is a Cause of Tasting the Sweetness of Faith​


Hadith ㉞:
Narrated by Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever possesses three traits will taste the sweetness of faith:
① That Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else;
② That he loves a person solely for the sake of Allah;
③ And that he hates returning to disbelief as much as he hates being thrown into fire."

◈ Chapter: Command to Express Love for Others and Its Virtue​


Hadith ㉟:
Narrated by Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه:


A man was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when another man passed by. He said:
“O Messenger of Allah, I love this man.”
The Prophet ﷺ asked:
"Did you inform him?"
He replied: “No.”
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Go tell him."
So he caught up with him and said: “I love you for the sake of Allah.”
The man replied: "May the One for whose sake you love me also love you."

◈ Chapter: A Man Will Be with Those He Loves​


Hadith ㊱:
Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:


A man asked the Prophet ﷺ: “When is the Hour?”
He replied: "What have you prepared for it?"
The man said: “Nothing except that I love Allah and His Messenger.”
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"You will be with those whom you love."
Anas said:
“We were never as happy with anything as we were with the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: ‘You will be with those whom you love.’
I love the Prophet ﷺ, Abū Bakr, and ʿUmar. I hope to be with them even if I have not done the same deeds as them.”

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of the Righteous Being Loved and Praised by People​


Hadith ㊲:
Narrated by Abū Dharr رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ was asked:
“O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who does a good deed and people praise him for it?”
He ﷺ said:
"That is the early glad tidings of the believer."

﴿الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ ‎﴾
﴿يَا عِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ ‎﴾

📖 [Sūrah al-Zukhruf: 67–68]


Translation:
"Close friends on that Day will be enemies to each other, except the righteous. [To them it will be said:] 'O My servants, today there is no fear upon you, nor will you grieve.'"


Hadith ㊳:
Narrated by Abū Mūsā رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The example of a good companion and a bad companion is that of a musk seller and a blacksmith.
The musk seller will either gift you some, or you will buy from him, or at least you will enjoy a good fragrance.
As for the blacksmith, he will either burn your clothes or you will smell a foul odor from him."

◈ Chapter: The Virtue of One Whose Good is Hoped For and Evil is Feared​


Hadith ㊴:
Narrated by Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ stood over a group of people and said:
"Shall I inform you who among you is the best and the worst?"
They remained silent. He repeated this three times.
A man said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah, do tell us.”
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The best among you is the one whose good is hoped for and whose evil is not feared.
And the worst among you is the one whose good is not hoped for and whose evil is feared."



📚 Sunan al-Tirmidhī, Book of Tribulations, Ḥadīth 2263 – Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ (Authentic)

◈ Chapter: A Man’s Faith is Not Complete Until He Loves for His Brother What He Loves for Himself​


Hadith ㊵:
Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:


The Prophet ﷺ said:
"None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."


📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Book of Faith, Ḥadīth 12


وَصَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالَى عَلَىٰ خَيْرِ خَلْقِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ
May the blessings of Allah be upon His best creation, Muhammad ﷺ, and upon his family and all his companions.
