Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

30. That is the extent of their knowledge [20]. Surely, your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path and who is rightly guided.

What Was the Extent of the Knowledge of the Polytheists of Makkah?

That is, they cannot think beyond their worldly interests. All their knowledge is devoted to the purpose of how to earn more wealth and riches in this world. Yet, even if they think that they alone are on the right path, this decision is neither in their control nor dependent on their discretion; rather, it is Allah's prerogative to decide, because He is the One who created everything in the universe and He alone knows the conditions of His creation best. Therefore, you have no need to get involved in arguments and disputes with them, nor is it your responsibility to ensure that they are guided to the right path.
