Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Food of the People of Hell:

That is, when the people of Hell will become restless due to the intensity of hunger and will demand something to eat, they will be driven towards that region of Hell where the tree of Thohar will be growing in abundance. This is what they will be given to eat, and they will be forced to eat it. Because it is thorny, at first it will not even go down their throats, and if it barely reaches their stomachs, its bitter, pungent, and poisonous substance will boil due to its heat just like boiling water. When they are done with this kind of food, the angels will be commanded to push these wretches back into Hell until they reach the very center of Hell.
