Surah Al-Muminoon (23) — Ayah 32

فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿32﴾
And We sent to them a Messenger from among themselves (saying): "Worship Allâh! You have no other Ilâh (God) but Him. Will you not then be afraid (of Him i.e. of His punishment because of worshipping others besides Him)?"
فَأَرْسَلْنَا fa-arsalnā And We sent
فِيهِمْ fīhim among them
رَسُولًۭا rasūlan a Messenger
مِّنْهُمْ min'hum from themselves
أَنِ ani [that]
ٱعْبُدُوا۟ uʿ'budū Worship
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
مَا not
لَكُم lakum for you
مِّنْ min (is) any
إِلَـٰهٍ ilāhin god
غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ ghayruhu other than Him
أَفَلَا afalā Then will not
تَتَّقُونَ tattaqūna you fear

32. So We sent to them a messenger from among themselves [36], who said, "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Will you not then fear [Him]?" [37]

[36] This was another generation or another nation, the people of 'Ad, or the first 'Ad, as mentioned in some other places in the Noble Quran after the story of Prophet Nuh ؑ. And to them, Prophet Hud ؑ was sent.
[37] That is, are you not afraid of the evil consequences of associating partners with Allah, that perhaps divine wrath may descend upon you?
