Surah Al-Jinn (72) — Ayah 13

وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ ۖ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا ﴿13﴾
‘And indeed when we heard the Guidance (this Qur’ân), we believed therein (Islâmic Monotheism), and whosoever believes in his Lord shall have no fear, either of a decrease in the reward of his good deeds or an increase in the punishment for his sins.
وَأَنَّا wa-annā And that [we]
لَمَّا lammā when
سَمِعْنَا samiʿ'nā we heard
ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ l-hudā the Guidance
ءَامَنَّا āmannā we believed
بِهِۦ ۖ bihi in it
فَمَن faman And whoever
يُؤْمِنۢ yu'min believes
بِرَبِّهِۦ birabbihi in his Lord
فَلَا falā then not
يَخَافُ yakhāfu he will fear
بَخْسًۭا bakhsan any loss
وَلَا walā and not
رَهَقًۭا rahaqan any burden
