سُوْرَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ
Surah As-Saaffaat (37) — Ayah 32
فَأَغْوَيْنَـٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَـٰوِينَ ﴿32﴾

"So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray."

(Ayah 32){ فَاَغْوَيْنٰكُمْ اِنَّا كُنَّا غٰوِيْنَ :} This is the fifth answer: that we had no power over you, but we ourselves were astray, and it is evident that only an astray person can be expected to call others towards misguidance, because whoever is astray naturally wants others to become like him, so that no one remains to blame anyone else. Therefore, it was inevitable that we would invite you towards misguidance, and we did so; it was your responsibility to use your intellect and not accept our words. Now, after choosing disbelief by your own will, do not hold us responsible for it.
